Product Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice style and quality I would say this jacket is more of a “fitted” fit than “regular fit”. If you like to wear a sweater or something thick under a jacket, you may not be satisfied with this one. I don’t ever bulk up under coats/jackets so I am satisfied with the fit. I am 5’5”, 135 lbs, 36DDD. This is my 3rd Marmot coat/jacket and I fit in a Large in all 3 Marmots. For me the chest runs small in this brand. I purchased the Storm color and love it! Easy to zip out the liner and re-zip it back in. The shell is lightweight, perfect for travel—fold up the outside and pack it away while wearing the liner jacket on the plane. It is a good quality and good looking jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right - Not too ski-like not to fancy I wanted a coat that would look good not just with work outfits (business casual), but also with casual outfits. I have ski jackets (poofy and too casual with work clothes) and the wool and trench coats (too fancy to run around town). This is perfect. Simple lines. No crazy colors or zippers everywhere. Perfect feminine shape and length. The shell is cozy and the shell is a nice soft fabric that doesn't make a bunch of noise when you move around. I got the black, but the white is classy looking on, too. I'm thinking I could purge the closets and go with just this one!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from "Runs Small" is an understatement I got a large when I read that they run small. It really seemed as though the mid-section was not cut in proportion to the rest of the pieces. I have significant sewing experience when I say this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dope Jacket I bought this because I had just finished an internship and wanted to treat myself. It definitely makes feels spoiled, but does not give me buyer's remorse in the least. It is really comfortable and definitely warm enough for the winters in Texas (even West Texas where it actually snows). It is big enough to keep me warm, but not big enough to make me feel like a marshmallow. I got the sea foam green color or whatever it is called and I really like it. It's not crazy and in your face green, but it's not boring either. I can tell its high quality and going to last forever. I'm 5"3 and got a large because I wanted it to be really roomy and cover my butt, which it does. I love Marmot. They know how to make a frickin' jacket!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hurt a girl's feelings I originally bought this jacket a size larger than I thought I would need because I imagined I would wear a sweatshirt or layers underneath. When it arrived I slipped it on over a t-shirt and was disappointed at how tight it was in the bust and shoulders. If I wore thin tops in the winter I guess it would work, but I wear thick winter tops like one usually does. I am shipping it back but do like the feel of the material and fit otherwise so I will be ordering one more size bigger. I usually wear a medium jacket or coat and I am ordering an XL. Ouch

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome jacket I love this jacket. I wanted a 3 in 1 that was not bulky. This jacket has all the features I was looking for. The inner lining zips in and also attaches at the sleeves so the sleeves don't bunch up. I like that the lining is a little shorter than the overall coat because it reduces the bulk without sacrificing the warmth. It also allows you to wear just the liner without it looking frumpy. It is a coat to wear to work as well as a coat for casual outfits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kept me dry I bought this jacket with fleece liner for a 5-dat trip white water rafting down the Grand Canyon. It was perfect! In warmer weather I just used the shell, and slept outside under the stars in the fleece liner with leggings. When it got cold, I wore both. It kept me dry inside even in the rain. I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 3 in one jacket Love the color. Jacket runs small and fit is snug for size "large". Zipper and hood work well. Don't like the velcro patches down the front because they catch everything, like scarves and clothing. Magnets or snaps would be an improvement.
