Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional and stylish I bought this jacket a month ago after overheating on a hike in the Colorado Rockies while it was snowing so I had to wear a rain jacket. I have now worn this several times on strenuous hikes with snow and wind. It was breathable so I did not overheat and blocked the wind while standing on the mountain ridge. The material is fairly stretchy which helps with fit. The shoulders were a little more narrow, so I sized up one size since I am an hourglass, and it fits great. Not boxy at all and the pockets are actually usable. It is a great jacket and worth the investment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great, but too close fitting to keep warm The product is beautiful, comfortable, and well-made. I bought it for my daughter, who wears a small. It fit so closely that it left no room for a warm-air layer. (My complaint, not hers.) We went to an outdoor winter lights show, thinking this jacket would be just right. The temperatures were in the 40's. It was not warm enough for this outing. It is definitely not the mountaineering outer Gor-Tex layer as mine. She is perfectly happy with it and uses jackets year round, so she will just use it in warmer temperatures. It might shine as an expensive wind-proof rain jacket. If we had rain. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Athletic Softshell for narrow frame Great quality, it’s just a bit tight in the shoulders for me. The arms were slim cut which is great, I can fit a lightweight long sleeve under to layer, the hips fit well, the hood is comfortable and all the seams have good construction. The only problem is that the shoulders are too narrow for me. It’s not just that I have restricted movement when I move my arms, it’s when I have my arms resting at my sides I can feel the jacket very uncomfortably snug against the top and back of my shoulders. I think this jacket would be excellent if there was more articulation and room in the shoulders. If I sized up the hips and waist would be way too big for me. I am 5’7” and 145 lbs, wide shoulders and wide hips, long torso, slim waist. and I got a medium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slim fit water repellant jacket I love the slim fit and stretch of this jacket. I wore it in light rain and it beaded off the water repellent fabric nicely. The teal upper fabric is slightly stiffer without much give than the black softer, stretchy portions. There is a slight bit of puckering where the 2 fabric meets on the chest which could possibly be because of the curved tailored seam that is there along with the difference of material. I could easily fit a semi fitted quilted zip up under this, so I don’t see a problem fitting a fleece or other warmer layer under it as long as it is not too baggy. The most restriction with what you can layer will be in the shoulder and upper arm area where it might get tight. It is a nice quality jacket and I am pleased with the look and feel! For reference I am 5’3” 105 lbs and got the XS.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice fabric, way too tight The shoulders, arms and wrists are tiny, like a t shirt. I had to double check the right size was sent. Can’t imagine layering anything under it. Can’t imagine why a jacket was made with really tight arms/wrist openings. Hip width was fine if not a bit large. Return due to odd fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breathable & Durable I've been using this jacket non-stop for the last few months. It seems to be the perfect spring jacket. Warm, but still breathable when you start to work up a sweat! I can't say enough great things about the fit. The ROM hugs my body while still allowing me maximum flexibility while adventuring. The material is incredible and it holds up great in the rain as well :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I love the two-tone blue ROM jacket, and it fits me very well. I have broad shoulders, narrow hips, athletic build 40C, and the XL fits great! The arms are not too narrow at all, and the slight flair at the hips is great. I do think it runs probably a size too small, and I bought the XL knowing it was likely an L.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really nice waterproof jacket I received this near the beginning of the summer and it was perfect for a light summer rain or as a windbreaker. I love the color (I have the teal), and the fit is very slimming! It was a little thinner than I expected, which just meant I had to layer more if the temperature dropped! Other than that, I love it!
