Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome coat but zipper might be a problem... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the shape and fit of this coat--slightly fitted but not too much. I'm 5'7", 170 pounds, mid-20s, and I got a Large. It was slightly big but probably perfect for layering with a sweater or something underneath. The coat is much lighter than I expected, but seems pretty warm nonetheless. I especially love the magnetic closure on top of the zipper. I ended up returning it because although I really liked it, the zipper was not easy to start (at the bottom). Might re-order to see if it was a one-time defect. Really loved it but wasn't willing to pay so much for a coat with a funky zipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome jacket I’ve always hated puffy jackets because they are not stylish and make you look like the Michelin man but having recently moved from California to Pennsylvania, I really needed a warm jacket. With every passing day, I am more in love with this one. It is truly WARM and even during the recent snow falls and when temperatures are in the 20s I am not a bit cold! It is also really lightweight, has a nicer silhouette a the waist, a nice cozy hood, and the lining of the pockets is soft. I LOVE my jacket and while I thought it was quite pricey I have since decided it was well worth the investment as I will wear it for years. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Warm Coat ! Great "Grape" gorgeous, deep color. Very impressed with the magnetic closer's instead of snapping.Zipper is OK . Deep hand pockets that are easy to slide my cold hands into.Needs another inside pocket though, one isnt enough but glad it has one.Love the "light weight" coat that kept me warm on a -15 below morning, though a sweater would have really helped for extra warmth but this coat did the job. The attached hood is awesome and plan on keeping it attached ! This down coat is sooooooo soft and I really like the fact it also has fleece inner cuffs :) LOVE EVERTHING OF THIS WELL MADE MARMOT DOWN COAT. I'm hoping it will last many winters to come my way :)))

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the extra $$ for a removable Hood! My quest started with trying to find a warm (down) jack WITHOUT a hood. Every single product available right now has a (frickin) hood! AND it's never detachable (grrrr!) SO - I decided to spend part of my 2020 bonus and order the Marmot Strollbridge jacket. It is awesome and I LOVE that I can detach the hood! I probably will never use the hood as I always carry a crossbody purse or messenger bag so now I will never get hung up on the darn hood when I try to take my purse off. I really wish a detachable hood AND a two way zipper was an affordable standard!! Maybe start new and be the first in 2021?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great, so warm!!! Zipper is just fine! I don’t get the reviews about the zipper. It’s the kind that works in both directions which I think is a great feature! I can put on the coat and then when I get in the car to drive, I can upzip it a bit from the bottom to make it easier to sit and drive. This is something I look for in longer coats! I like my tush covered in the winter but want to have some freedom of movement when I sit in the car. It’s not hard to use at all. Like all zippers, make sure that the pieces are all the way down then attach the sides together and pull up, Voila! In any case, this coat is warm and looks great! The hood is a little larger but I love that on a snowy windy day! Keeps everything toasty!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish I would have liked it... Love Marmot... I'm 5'6 141 lbs. with long arms, purchased a large in black. Pros: Arm length perfect, length of coat perfect, hood size perfect, general sizing for layering perfect. Pocket depth perfect, LOVE the magnetic "snaps". Cons: Zipper catches everytime, annoying(past reviews say to make sure that the two-way is lined up perfectly before trying to zip) pocket opening size is a bit small, I noticed when inserting my cell phone, my hand would feel cramped in size. Shoulder area seemed a bit thin on down, when walking the dog at 28 degrees out, my shoulders were chilled...So disappointed in this...really wanted this to be "IT"...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this coat! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is amazing and bypassed my expectations. The fit is perfect and do not feel it runs a little big as others reviews stated. I have worn in extremely cold (0-10 degrees) and warmer near 35 and the coat feels great in either weather. The one downfall is the zipper. It is very fussy and difficut to use. I truly cannot figure out why such a fantastic coat would have such a terrible zipper. The cost is high and if you want true perfection for your money the zipper will disappoint you. The other features and how comfy this coat is outweigh the terribleness of the zipper for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Underwhelmed by warmth I bought this jacket after having my Montreal Coat from Marmot for 4 years now. I loved that in my Montreal Coat the interior body, arm cuffs, and hand pockets were lined with a warm/soft fleece and that it could keep me warm even when it was well below freezing outside. I was torn between ordering my original jacket again and this one, but decided to change it up. When the Strollbridge Jacket arrived I was disappointed. This coat did not have a fleece lined body my previous jacket had and was slightly cold when you first put it on due to whatever material it was lined with. The arm cuffs and hand pockets were lined with fleece though like my old jacket. As noted by another reviewer, the jacket is very light and not puffy. I decided to wear it outside (I live in DC and NH throughout the winter) to give it a chance and found myself cold after only 25 minutes of being outside in DC- it was only 30/35 degrees outside that night. This jacket however is beautiful- the pattern on the outside is extremely flattering and slimming. It'd be a great jacket if you didn't need to wear it outside for a long period of time or didn't live in an "extremely" cold place.
