The Merrell Men's Phaserbound 2 Tall Waterproof Boot is a tall, sturdy boot for backpacking long trails. Shoulder your 80L+ pack and head into the mountains for weeks on end. The full grain leather upper also features suede and mesh for durable protection against dirt, sticks, rocks and even the errant pine cone. The high height covers over the ankle and underfoot a Flex index of Grade 4 offers plenty of support for the heavy weight you're carrying. Vibram Megagrip creates the outsole with a 5mm lug depth to dig into the earth and provide the traction to every step.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great all around boot I've had these boots for a few months now and so far they are great. I purchased them for small and big game hunting in Colorado. Took them on a mule deer hunt in the foothills and they worked great. I've also been using them small game hunting walking through frosted grass and icy marshes and they work great keeping my feet comfy and dry. They provide great ankle support and are warm and very comfortable. I do wish they were a bit taller and were easier to really crank down the top lace but that's a minor point. My only surprise with these was they they seem to run a half size too big. It's not an issue but something to note.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot I have this pair & have put many miles on them hiking & camping w/o issue. A little on the heavy side, but comfortable. I have been wearing Merrell for a few years & always have at least 2 pair, one for work & the other for play. This pair of Phaserbound I have was sent to me as a replacement after a couple nylon eyelets wore out after 2 years of use & many many miles. I've used Merrell hiking Taylor Canyon, CO, GSM, Yellowstone, Hoosier NF & many other state parks. They stand by their product & I will continue to be a loyal customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot & A Great Company! I bought these boots in the early spring of 2021 and instantly put them to the test. I am an avid hiker and backpacker, and have a very active job that includes a lot of time spent walking on trails. The first pair I ordered had a small defect (the toe cap wasn't completely sealed, meaning the left boot wasn't waterproof) so I informed Merrell and (kudos to them!) they instantly replaced the boots, giving me a fresh start with a new pair. In the first several weeks with the new boots, I hiked over 200 miles, including rugged miles in NH's White Mountains and in the peaks of Grand Teton National Park. I am pleased to say that the boots held up perfectly well, and retained their waterproofing perfectly. I have now had the boots for over 6 months, and I have hiked well over 500 miles on them, from high peaks to long, wet slogs. These boots have been excellent. The leather and tread has endured, and the comfort has only gotten better with time. If Merrell keeps making them, I'll be buying another pair when these wear out! Overall a great boot, and a great company that stands behind its products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Montana Tested I purchased these boots in the Spring of 2019 and cannot rave enough about them. I waited to write this review until I had worn them enough to know what I'm talking about. I live near Glacier National Park, so hiking is a MUST. My first real hiking season, I hiked 36 miles of trail, every inch was covered in these boots WITHOUT a single fail. My right ankle has always been weak, so the high tops give me the exact support I need. There is a real difference in the confidence I feel while wearing these boots as compared to others in the past. 1. Fishing in a river...done with success 2. Hiking novice to moderate trails...done with success 3. Hunting in November with snow on the ground...done with success. Best all around boot I've ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These Boots Won't Die Bought these boots in 2016. Have hiked 4 days with them on the AT, 120 miles at Philmont (Sierra del Sangre NM), and seven Colorado 14ers. The fit is the same as when I got them, the sole is still in incredible shape for the number of boulder fields they've covered, and the waterproofing is still great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost 19 years and still the most comfortable boots I own First got these sometime in the early 2000's. Wore the first pair for years, then got a second pair that lasted until last week. Hiked and/or backpacked all over the Rockies, Alps, and most recently Andes. From snow to hot and wet, these never missed a beat. Fit is everything, but different for each person. These just fit me great, snug with excellent arch support, and firm sole. Getting ready to order a new pair. Old one's I keep for dirty work around the house. For comparison, I wear a 10.5 with a narrow foot. Size seems to be right on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waterproof and Phaserbound do not belong together Day one and two of hiking was dry. The boot felt very comfortable. Day three was very foggy with a light drizzle so the grass was wet. The boot got soaked. Didn’t even have a chance to step in a puddle to test what M-Dry is all about; I found out the hard way in the middle of the hike. Sadly on hikes number 4 and 5 is when I found out that the boot is not designed for the actual reason I bought it for: climb Mt Kenya to 16000 ft. Upon descent my big and little toes on both feet have suffered extreme damage (I will refrain describing the pain) to the point that I fear wearing this pair of boots again. What started as very high hopes is ending today with a pair of boots that are retired after 5 hikes. I don’t think I have much to be thankful for, thus risking to being unfair to many other good qualities of the boot.

So I bought these boots literally over a year ago and granite and I’ll wear them every day but I wear them a lot and they are literally I think the best pair of boots I’ve ever owned in my entire life I’m 60 years old and tough on boots but these are the best I’ve had.

You dont have anything in 12.5 when might they be back in stock

Hey there, thanks for your question. Because the items on this site are past season, and clearance items, it's not very likely that we will be getting any additional sizes in these boots. Additionally, 12.5 is also not the most common size just yet. Many brands still switch to full sizes beyond size 12. Sorry for the bummer, but I hope this still helps.
