Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super cute and comfy I haven’t given these a thorough test run but picked them up in anticipation of some summer adventures. They’re so cute, I loved all the colors but settled on black because I’m a bit basic. I have long narrow feet and found these fit pretty snug right out of the box, so idk how they would work for wide feet. The mid strap is adjustable so I’m not sure what the other reviewer means. I use the back Velcro to slip them on and I’m good to go. Can’t wait to see how they wear, I’m a little wary because the soles are a foam texture and not rubber. Comfy so far!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Super comfy; I also have strap issues First of all, these shoes are so incredibly comfortable! They feel like walking on marshmallows, yet they are firm enough to provide ample support. I have medium-width feet with a tailor's bunion on the side of my right foot, and I did not have any trouble with the top strap fitting too narrow. The straps are all cushioned, which is a huge advantage with these shoes. Additionally, the mid-strap DOES adjust for tightness (not sure what the first reviewer was referencing to that extent). Finally, why I gave these shoes three stars: The back strap slips off of my heel. No matter how tight I make it, the strap eventually loosens up after walking for a short while around the house, leading to the shoe slipping off my foot. I am so bummed about this, too; I really like these shoes! Alas, I have to return them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite sandals Wow! I love these sandals. They are so comfy. I feel very supported. I love the straps to adjust how they fit. I read a few reviews about the back strap slipping off but I don’t have that issue. I’m thinking of getting these in more colors because they are so comfortable. I’ve walked 5+ miles in a day wearing these with no issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes - these are wonderful. I hope Merrell will keep this model and improve on the strap system. As mentioned by other reviewers, if straps need to be tightened considerably there is a lot of length left over with no place to 'store' it. Perhaps more Velcro or a fabric loop to slide it through. (I might try to add my own loop.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best River Sandal Spent 6 days on the Middle Fork of the Salmon with these sandals. They are comfortable, have great support and grip. Dry super fast. Highly recommend the Alpine Strap Sandal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sad to have to return They seem comfortable in many ways but....the are just barely adjustable. I have narrow feet (but not overly so) and I can't get these fit tight enough to be safe. I worry I'll roll my ankles wearing them. Only the back strap truly adjusts. Too bad.
