Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bravada- nice shoe This is my first “sniker “ purchase. I ordered my usual Merrell 10.5. It is a generous fit on me, but at least the toe box is plenty wide and deep for my toe bunion. They are sturdy, yet flexible - comfortable to walk in out of the box. Nice durable sole, too. Considering that come winter, I will most likely need thicker hiking socks, I’m keeping this size; maybe next time I’ll try a 10, but walking down hills here in the NC mountains could jam my toes in a 10. I will say this shoe does not look streamlined or feminine on me - my Merrell hiking boots are probably cuter. That is why the 4 rating. Otherwise, comfortable and serviceable hiking/walking shoe and I’ll keep them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hiking shoe! I bought these shoes after hiking in Nike shoes for so long (yes I know, definitely not the best choice). I love these shoes, they are fairly comfortable but I have flat feet and had to replace the insole which made these shoes amazingly comfortable. I always replace every insole in my shoes due to my flat feet but I gave them 4/5 for comfort before the insole change. With the insole change, 5/5 for comfort. They hug my ankle and give the support I need when on rocky terrain. Great hybrid. If you’re worried about the insole, change it out and you’ll love the shoes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best shoe for me If your feet are medium or narrow, these might not be the best option. My feet are medium, but the tongue on these shoes is not separate from the shoe, so when tightening laces, the tongue bunches...in my case, a lot. They are too wide and don't hug my foot well enough. They loosen around the ankle as you hike. They come untied and you have to tighten and retie. They would be pretty comfortable if they just fit right regarding the width. I wish I had not worn them hiking yet or I'd return them. I'm disappointed with this shoe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfortable, not durable. I am a dog trainer and bought these for occasional wear to work for light walking / standing on pavement, grass or dirt, and occasional walking on a fine gravel parking lot. The soles shred easily, as seen in the photos. These shoes are comfortable, but for what they cost, are not worth the money. The photo shows the shredding on the left sole and the shredding on the side of the sole in the shoe on the right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So fun I ordered my normal size and these are a bit bigger than other shoes, but perfect to use medium thickness wool hiking sock with them. They have so much grip - I was practically stuck to the side of the rocks on the trail, which is good since I can trip over nothing when walking. They were comfortable and I had no problems with them. Also, the colors are fun - I would not have ordered the pink/purple/teal ones usually, but the color name is my first name, so I figured I had to try them. They are definitely brighter than I would normally order, but I enjoy them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST Shoe for our National Park Trip! I bought these shoes a few months ago for our recent trip to the Grand Canyon and Zion National Parks. I had been having bad foot, knee and hip pain and needed a good hiking shoe with proper support. I couldn't be happier with these shoes. I experienced absolutely no pain during all of our hikes and in fact, felt better after wearing them daily for a week. We were doing shorter hikes (less than 5 miles a day) but I'd say this shoe is perfect for those needing good performance at a reasonable price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Feet get wet from sweat, never had a shoe do this I have the Moab boots, I love. So living where it is hot, I decided to buy these to be cooler on easy trails. I got the non-waterproof for ventilation. These are terrible, not bad for comfort but my feet get wet and sweat, even just wearing them in the house. These are not the waterproof version, so they shouldn't be sealed up and non-ventilated. Thought maybe it was the socks, so I got a few different kinds of moister wicking, coolmax, tried good brands of socks. NOPE, the shoes have no ventilation, the do nothing but trap heat and make my feet wet. Ive never had a shoe of any kind do this. The Moab waterproof boots don't even make my feet wet, just a bit warm on hot days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grip, Comfort Out of the Box I’ve tried various hiking shoes over the years and I could never find a pair I liked for my casual hiking. I’ve tried my running shoes on trails and have been disappointed in the lack of grip. These shoes bring together the comfort of my running shoes and excellent grip of hiking boots. I typically wear a wide width so I almost didn’t order these but the give in the upper fabric has them fit me perfectly with no pain or break in.
