great bootsI was hesitant to order these boots. They got very mixed reviews, either great or not. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised with the fit and also how they look. I ordered black. I have plantar faciitis which I've had shots for and it's stable if I wear the correct shoes or my inserts. These boots have a nice arch which I love. There's plenty of room in the toe box and the boots are just so comfy. Love the zipper on the side, my foot just slides right in. So, I am so happy may consider ordering another color in the future.

Good ankle boot for light snow daysI wanted an in between boot for tromping around in small amounts of snow, when I don't want to bust out my tall snow boots. These fit well right out of the box, I have lots of Merrell shoes, all size 9, and these fit well in a size 9 even with a little thicker sock. After wearing a few days, I could even slide them off without unzipping. They are lightly insulated, but won't be warm enough for me when it's much colder than 20 degrees, and the fur lining is just as cuff around the top, it doesn't line the whole foot. The sole leaves something to be desired and doesn't provide very good traction on ice. They are cute, I like them, I wore them to work today. Also very waterproof.

Runs way too small and narrowThese boots are amazing, just what you would expect from Merrill . I normally wear an 11 medium but bought an 11 wide this time as I wear thick wool socks in MN. For probably the last 15-20 years I have only bought Merrill boots and shoes as I an disabled and have trouble with arthritic feet and balance. I have probably bought over 1000 pairs as I love shoes and this is the first pair of Merrill’s thAt are way too small. I would say 2 sizes and the width seems like a narrow. I do not have wide feet. Great looking boot, extremely warm and amazing traction but beware of sizing.

So comfyI've had these boots a few weeks and have worn them constantly. I love that they zip which makes them so easy to get on and off. They are warm and very comfortable. I like them so much I bought another pair in black. Fit is true to size. I wear an 8 and that's the size I got and its a perfect fit. Very happy with them.

Clown ShoesThe pair I received were HUGE, like clown shoes! I ordered my regular size 10, and what I got said size women's 10 on the box and label, but easily had to be a Mens size 10 or a Women’s size 12W. The quality is there and they look great, I just wished they fit!
I could put my entire hand down the back of the boot with my foot in it and still had room to spare! And, my little piggies were just swimming in the excess room of the toe box.
Obviously, I’m returning and praying I will get the correct size upon exchange! Clown shoes are not a good look on anyone, except maybe Clowns!

Warm and very comfortableI normally wear a 42 so I got the 11 and I always add my small arch support. The 11 was perfect for my Morton's neuroma in my left foot, no burn, no pain. First day I wore them I had a flight and walked the full length of the concourse twice for two flights. I get lots of compliments every time I were them!

True to size, comfortable, perfect for every dayI love these boots. They are true to size (I wear 8.5 in nearly all shoes and the 8.5 fit perfectly). I do wear them with somewhat thick socks (i.e. darn tough or smart wool), but that's my usual winter sock. They are easy to slip on and zip up and are perfect for running errands or walking to school. I live in the UP of Michigan so they have been through some snow and ice in the month that I've had them and they look the same as the day I received them (I was worried about water spots but haven't had a problem with that). They seem to be warm, but I haven't used them below 20F yet. I will probably still use them when it gets colder because they are comfortable and not as heavy or bulky as my heavy-duty winter boots that are a pain to walk in. I

Description incorrectBoot is comfortable and true to size. Toe area is spacious with room for a heavier sock. This is NOT a tall boot as described and does NOT have 200 gm of lightweight insulation. The inside of boot clearly indicates 100 gm of insulation. Boot will be fine for quick trips in and out of the car but not for long walks. Disappointing.
