Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect basic bootie Pros: instantly comfortable (and will stretch a bit over the top of the foot); great elevated heel is a statement without being too clunky; rubberized sole gives great traction over wet pine needles or slick floors out running errands; simple but elegant detail makes these dressy enough for a skirt and patterned tights and cool enough to throw on with a pair of skinny jeans and your fav team top for game day. Cons: high instep means these felt a little tight across the top of my foot when I first wore them (but I have a high arch). Brushed suede surface scuffs easily (so be careful). If you want to wear thicker socks with these size up or you won’t get them on. I love them and know I’ll be living in them. You can’t go wrong with Merrell quality. Good boots for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy, Sassy Comfort! Every single time I wear these boots, I get compliments! I broke an ankle several years ago, and sadly, high heels are no longer a possibility for me. I bought these Shilohs in buff and worried about being able to physically wear this heel height. But, right out of the box, they’ve been super comfortable to walk and stand in all day ( I teach high school); and, they have just enough heel to make you feel sassy but not enough to make you hurt!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy home for my toes My feet were very happy and comfortable in these boots. So much so that I didn't want to take them off when I got home. That is something new! I found them very comfortable and easy to wear. I am going up a half size in some shoes/boots so that I can wear socks comfortably and with these it worked perfect. I wore wool socks, the kind you don't sweat in, and they paired well with these boots.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just OK I considered returning the boots. As another reviewer mentioned, the leather scuffs easily. They are wide in the heel and narrow across the toe box despite the rounded toe. The leather is stiff as are most boots made in China. Hopefully they will stretch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from all 3 colors I got one pair of this boot and it fit so well that went ahead and got it in the other colors. It's pretty rare that I find a boot that fits this good. It is not a smooth leather, it has a nap to it which I like. The heel is a good height to be comfortable wearing all day. The strap on the side adjusts a bit but the zipper is great to get your foot in easily. I do use a shoe spoon getting them on, mainly because I have heel issues. This is my favorite boot in my wardrobe.
