DWR tech

Durable Water Repellent
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Get it, no matter what your kids say!! Ok, let's get real. I'm 42 and thought this would be a great fit for me, not too warm, not too cool, just right for most climates. My kids make fun of me when I say I'm putting on my shacket, but hey, it fits great, and does what it is meant to do. I'm 5'9" and 190lbs, build it the oh so coveted "Dad Bod" and the large fits perfect. I say, get you one! Don't let your kids talk you out of it, and if your 42, it's all about comfort so the kick butt style is a bonus! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect all day for fall or mild winter weather!! I've been wearing this in cool/warm/windy weather and couldn't be happier. I can wear it going into work when it's 30-35 and still wear it home when it's in the 60's. Lightweight and wind resistant. And I get complimented on the Bourdeaux color, as it's just slightly different than most jackets out there. Another plus for me was the sleeves are longer over the top of the wrist (see photo). I have a medium build but longer-than-normal arms. I was able to get a medium without the frustration of sleeves that are too short. Great jacket!!! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice simple jacket! I was looking for a light insulated jacket that had a more traditional / casual feel. Bam! Here we go! Not crazy warm, but warm enough and super comfortable. Made good use of it during springlike conditions skiing in the southern Rockies. It’s not ultralight but light and compressible enough for most casual adventure. Mine has only seen a little bit of light snow / freezing rain, but it bounced right off and I think could take more than i have exposed it to. A note on the fit: it definitely is sized like a shirt, rather than a jacket. I ended up going a size bigger than I usually wear because I knew I wanted to wear it as a jacket, over a sweater. Rated 5 out of 5 by from So nice! My new favorite. Keeps you warm without the bulk. Perfect when it is cold outside, but you don’t want to have to wear or carry around a big coat indoors. I wish it was available in more colors. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wicked awesome shacket Awesome shacket! fits like a shirt but preforms like a jacket. Large fits perfect (190lbs, 6ft broad shoulders). I love the cut at the cuffs, [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Many Complements I bought the Shacket because I wanted something lighter then a winter jacket but heavier then a wind breaker. Also, I wanted a down synthetic jacket I could layer with in a verity of situations. This fit the bill. I find it to be extremely comfortable to wear all day inside and outside. The buttons and chest pockets add a nice casual look that makes me feel like I'm wearing a shirt rather than a jacket. Seems like everywhere I go someone complements how they like the way the jacket looks! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good coat, bad collar Got this in the cinnamon color. Coat looks great and fit is good - the cuffs are cut a little odd but ok. The collar, though, picks up dirt and oil immediately and shows it very dark compared to the rest of the coat. Not great for what I was hoping would be an everyday fall/spring coat. Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s a swell jacket...excuse me, shacket I love this jacket. So much so I ordered another one in a different color. Perfect when there is a bit of a chill in the air. I’m 5 10 & 180lbs (no I’m not single) and the large fit me perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

HOW to MEASURE
* To get the most accurate measurement, use a flexible measuring tape and refer to the measuring guide info below.

CHEST: Measure around your chest, holding the measuring tape under your armpit. Please refrain from flexing for a more accurate measurement. You can flex after.

WAIST: Measure around your waist at the narrowest part. Then multiply it by 1.

HIP: Measure around your hips at the widest part. This is where all your hipness lies.

SLEEVE LENGTH: With your arms in a slightly bent position, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist. Do it in front of a mirror. Then flex again. Yep, still got it.
