DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Moosejaw Wind Resistant Fabric

Moosejaw Wind Resistant Fabric
Keep this away from any wind chimes. This garment has been engineered to block most of the wind that nature throws at you. Perfect for those cool, blustery days. Some sneaky wind could get through, but just think of it as personal air conditioning and you'll feel positively regal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm happy Its amazing the heat generated by technical fabrics. I researched comparable products and this price point was excellent. The jacket is extremely light but quite warm. Where I live (Delmarva), the jacket is probably good for three seasons. I recommend the jacket for active wear, hiking, climbing, cross country skiing or even biking, I would also add travel to the list. If you want a jacket for more sedentary activities, like fishing or hunting, this is not your baby. My only reservation is down stream durability but the item appears well made. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great as jacket or liner. Bought this MJ jacket last year in grey/orange. I’ve worn it by itself in 30-50 degree weather, or as a liner in a heavy shell when temps go lower. Great performance in warmth, windproof, and light shower shedder. Good value for reasonable cost vs big name brands. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Great jacket through the fall used by itself when it was a little chilly. Also works great used as a liner when the temperature drops. Really comfortable and well made. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value, fit, and features! Bought my 15 year-old son this jacket a couple months ago. He destroys stuff and he can tell you everything that’s wrong with a product. The ultimate wear-tester. No complaints. Fits him great. Perfect weight wearing to school or messing around with friends or going on a winter hike with his parents. And the price was way better than a comparable Patagonia or North Face. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest Coat I have ever owned! I love this coat, best coat purchase ever! I purchased this coat at one of the traveling stores as it came to NWA. All I owned was a leather jacket and we had some bitter cold moving in the next day, best money spent! Lightweight, breathable and warm. Layer it with a fleece and bitter cold has no chance! I may be purchasing another on soon for my wife because as temps are in the 20's she took mine to work tonight to store in her bag, and just as warm if not more so than her massive ski coat. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I bought this hoody because we are having a cold October here in Michigan. Since I have lost a lot of weight, I did not have a fall/spring jacket. This hoody is very light weight yet keeps me warm. The 80g of PrimaLoft insulation keeps the wind and cold from hitting me. All the while keeping me toasty. There are many pockets on this bad boy. There are two large pockets above the waist. One zip pocket hidden on the left chest area. Is that it? No, there is a zip pocket on the interior in the right chest area. This can be used for your phone since there is a spot to put your headphones through. The only draw back, which is not a major deal, when zipping the pockets above the waist, the extra fabric tends to get caught in the zipper. No harm no foul, still a great hoody.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid lightweight jacket Had this jacket for 3 weeks. I've been able to wear it at any temp between the 20's and 50's without freezing or sweating. It's wonderful in the wind as well. This is quickly turning into my go-to daily jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and warm! I used my Moosebucks to buy a lightweight, warm, packable jacket that could also serve as a liner under my parka in really bad weather. This jacket is perfect. Very high quality. Fit was true to size for me in a large. Interior and exterior pockets are perfectly placed. The added length in the back is great for keeping the wind off your lower back and waistline. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

HOW to MEASURE
* To get the most accurate measurement, use a flexible measuring tape and refer to the measuring guide info below.

CHEST: Measure around your chest, holding the measuring tape under your armpit. Please refrain from flexing for a more accurate measurement. You can flex after.

WAIST: Measure around your waist at the narrowest part. Then multiply it by 1.

HIP: Measure around your hips at the widest part. This is where all your hipness lies.

SLEEVE LENGTH: With your arms in a slightly bent position, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist. Do it in front of a mirror. Then flex again. Yep, still got it.
