DWR tech

Durable Water Repellent
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Moosejaw Wind Resistant Fabric

Moosejaw Wind Resistant Fabric
Keep this away from any wind chimes. This garment has been engineered to block most of the wind that nature throws at you. Perfect for those cool, blustery days. Some sneaky wind could get through, but just think of it as personal air conditioning and you'll feel positively regal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flattering cut, great lightweight jacket I bought this jacket last Fall, and I really love it. I absolutely love the flattering cut and length of the jacket, and the sleeves are a great length. It's great for the transition between seasons, or when Michigan surprises us with a 40+ degree day in February. I can definitely wear a warmer layer underneath, but would recommend getting a larger size if you want to add extra layers. I haven't had the chance to use the bottle opener in the inside pocket, but it's nice to know it's there. This is a great jacket! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mother in Law Basically Lives In it Now I bought this for my mother in law for Christmas. She may not like me a whole lot, but she really likes this jacket. It is soft, light, warm, and covers her bum. Which is pretty much everything one could need in a jacket for a Gulf Coast region. She's a big fan of the bottle opener, but worried she might not be able to get past a metal detector.. and you know? Maybe not, but between you and me, internet stranger, that would be pretty okay with me if her day were mildly inconvenienced every now and then. I got her a large - she is solidly a medium, but likes jackets extra roomy, so it's perfect. This is a good jacket. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good all-around jacket I originally bought the large size and returned it for an XL. I intend to wear this with bulky sweaters/sweatshirts and for sailing in cooler temps. The XL is perfect for this layering; I also like my clothes a bit looser. This is just a really good sportswear jacket - attending football games, cool-weather sailing/kayaking, just anything outdoors. It's not bulky and having zip pockets is very beneficial for not losing keys/phone while engaged in strenuous activities. I'm 5'3" so it's a bit longer on me than on someone taller but not ungainly. When I wear out this one, eventually, I'll buy another. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Fall in Chicago! After moving from NC to Chicago, I needed a middle ground between my heavy-duty parka and a fleece jacket. This is the perfect packable jacket for days when it’s 30* in the morning and 45* in the afternoons and you need something easy to throw on and go. It’s a flattering cut with convenient fleece-lined pockets, not to mention it’s got a hidden bottle opener! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cut! I love this jacket! It’s got enough room in the shoulders without being sloppy loose in the torso, the sleeves are long enough, it’s very lightweight while still being surprisingly warm, it’s long enough to cover my butt and has just the right amount of A-line flare to make the cut stylish. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice medium coat Nice medium weight coat. Pockets have zippers and there is an interior pocket. Covers you butt. I found a medium to be a bit too larger and the sleeves were too long. 5’6” 130 pounds [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just buy it- You won't regret it! The jacket (mine was the maroon/brick color) is super attractive. The color shows up great and the jacket itself does not look overly thick or puffy; yet is so incredibly warm when you put it on! I plan to use this as my winter jacket for those early morning excursions (gotta stay warm during those ungodly long 7am approaches) and overnight trips during the chilly California winter. It's so far working great for Michigan fall as well! Can't say enough good things about it. Solid purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and warm I bought this jacket about a month ago and it's my go-to hiking jacket now. The only thing that it's missing is a hood, but otherwise I love it. It's warm and waterproof and even the pockets are warm, they're fleece-lined. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

HOW to MEASURE
* To get the most accurate measurement, use a flexible measuring tape and refer to the measuring guide info below.

CHEST / BUST: Measure around your chest, holding the measuring tape under your armpit. Or have a really close friend or mom help you.

WAIST: Measure around your waist at the narrowest part. Remember this number if you ever buy a fanny pack.

HIP: Measure around your hips at the widest part. This is also called your hipcumference.

SLEEVE LENGTH: With your arms in a slightly bent position, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist. Then add 2 to this number, then subtract 2.
