The outer shell of the Mt Elliott Insulated Waterproof Jacket is a 100% seam-sealed 10k/10k waterproof/breathable 2-layer fabric. It’s insulated with 133g in the body and 100g in the arms of PrimaLoft© Silver to keep you warm even on the worst winter days. The hood is removable and insulated, plus we included a balaclava (hidden in interior back neck pocket). The collar is lined with cozy fleece and the comfort cuffs have thumb holes so it can work as a glove liner. Plus we integrated the powder skirt to make this a solid jacket for hitting the slopes or the windy cities (I'm looking at you, Chicago).

RECCO Reflectors

RECCO® Reflectors
The RECCO® Rescue System is two-part technology. Ski resorts and mountain rescue teams carry RECCO® detectors, which send out a search signal. RECCO® reflectors worn by skiers, riders and other outdoors people, bounce back a directional signal that directs the rescuer straight to the reflector. Unlike other technologies, multiple RECCO® reflectors on a person can improve detection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Jacket I bought this jacket three years ago when planning to move to the east somehow got 'lost' in my ex's I get to buy a new one! I opted for the Bordeaux color, which was a little more muted than I thought. I feel like I look like a California raisin cartoon character, but I love raisins, so I'm okay with it. I am 5'9" and 150(ish) pounds and I got a large. I like a little extra room in my stuff, so this fits me perfectly, including length, which is usually a problem. Would buy again if necessary, although this time I will not entrust it to an ex. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would buy it again I've been wearing this jacket for just over a month and have been very happy with it. Coming from a 3-in-1 jacket, this one is incredibly light in comparison, but just as warm. I also love that it doesn't have any velcro- the zipper liner is on the inside of the jacket instead of a exterior flap over the zipper- very smart design. The couple of things that need some tweaking: the hand warmer sleeve thingies are bit too tight, even for my tiny hands; The zipper zips a little hard; I have convinced myself this will get better as the jacket continues to break in. This jacket does not have armpit zippers, but I think it manages my body temperature well enough that I don't need them.,,It is true to size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loving it I wanted something warm, stylish (no puff) and in black. I spent my winter split between Northern Minnesota and North Dakota. This jacket is super lightweight, which made me skeptical when I first took it out of the box. How would it keep me warm? Well, it did! I ordered a small at first (I fit a small in the Volcom Women's Walk on By Parka which is longer, and I have big hips) but the small felt too tight in this Mt Elliott jacket. I exchanged for a medium and it's perfect! Roomy enough to wear a hoodie underneath, but not too big when I don't wear a hoodie. It kept me toasty and dry. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Winter Coat I've Ever Owned I waited a year to write this review so I could experience it all winter long before giving my informed opinion. It rocks. It has always kept me warm even in 50 below temperatures. The many pockets (inside and out) are very practical and useful. The collar and mask that comes with it have eliminated a need for a scarf. Finally, it looks great, is very comfortable, flexible, keeps out all moisture, gets warmer as your body heats up and it is amazingly light for the protection it gives. I highly recommend it for all winter fun! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite jacket !! I've had this jacket for about a month already and I wear it every day. Being 100lbs and 5'1, I ordered an XS in black and red and it fits perfectly. It's super warm and fashionable, easily can layer underneath and I like that it is a little longer in the back so if you ever bend down, wind doesn't blow through. I love that the jacket has those built in hand cuffs. The only con about the jacket is that the zipper is a bit stiff. Maybe that's a good thing so it can't easily be zipper for you to accidentally lose something. Other than that, this jacket is the best, especially awesome little perks aka a bottle opener ;) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snuggley soft in snow and sleet The secret about skiing when it rains, is that no one else is on the mountain and the snow is amazingly soft. I skied for 6 hours in pouring, cold, icy New England conditions. This jacket held up the entire time that I was sitting on the lifts and being pelted down the slopes. I stayed dry. I stayed warm and I even had my jams playing, since the insulated pockets kept my battery from dying. This is my second Mt. Elliott jacket. I love this thing. The linings are super soft and I'm obsessed with all the hidden pockets. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice jacket I bought this jacket for my upcoming trip to Iceland in January 2019 and Antarctica tour in March 2019. So, I have not tested it but I am hoping that it will withstand the Icelandic weather. I was very impressed how well the workmanship, the quality of the material, many features and above all how reasonable the price was. I bought the black color not too dark and it came with gray balaclava which I was not expected it. Nice surprise. After my trip and if I do remember I will do a follow-up review about the jacket. As a reference: 5' 3", 110 lbs. Bought size S, perfect fit. I tried on extra vase and sweater, no bulky. Simply slim and beautiful. I am giving this jacket a 4-star in performance instead of 5 because I have not tested it in the extreme weather yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great jacket with some flaws It's waterproof, warm, and the green is a really nice color. Lot of pockets, arms are long enough, which is sometimes a problem for me. The beef I have with it though is that it's pretty long, the zipper isn't very flexible, so I am always pulling it down so it will sit flat instead of making me look way bigger than I am. A jacket this long (and this price) should have a two way zipper in my opinion. The built in half mitts are a great addition, but they're WAY too small and they squeeze my hands, but if I push them back, there's too much bulk between my sleeve and my gloves. I think if the fabric used for these was thinner, it wouldn't be a problem. Other than these issues though, it's a great looking functional jacket. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
