Not an accurate temp rating[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a well constructed bag which is the only reason it gets two stars. It is a bit tight but I am 6'1" so I am always on the border of buying a large bag but usually go for the regular and am fine. As soon as I opened it I thought to myself that it seemed very thin for a 30 degree bag and was proven right when taking it out. I woke up cold at 2AM when the thermometer on my watch read 43. Above 47 or so it was fine but I was out for two weeks and anytime it got close to 40 I woke up cold. The footbox doesn't have enough insulation to keep your feet warm, a trait I would expect on a bag of this price. I spend a lot of time in sleeping bags and tents as a wildland firefighter and avid backpacker and this is the worst I have owned out of at least ten bags. The cinches on the hood also don't hold tight and loosen through the night. Overall a bad purchase and waste of money
