Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mountain Hardwear Absolute Zero Parka I love Mountain Hardwear products the bright Orange was welcome against the snow. The fit was perfect and it does run large 2XL. Warm as a toaster, great for belaying. I loved the zippers. Now I’m going to list what I hope they improve, I would love a soft micro-fleece chin protector, small zippered pouch for an Avalanche transceiver, ID placard for personal information, zipper pull for the bottom zipper. My biggest gripe is with the cuffs, the Lycra is going to snag and my biggest gripe was there were no Velcro straps to adjust the cuff size. These are all things I would like to see on my next Mountain Hardwear jacket because I will definitely be buying another one. This jacket is AWESOME! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm Parka I bough this about a week ago after much internet reasearch. I have always had good luck with Mountain Hardwear items. I bought this jacket for a hike to Mt Everest base camp. The trip is early next year. I am 6-1 and weigh 185. I always buy jackets in large. This jacket runs very large and I returned it for a medium which fits well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very warm but extremely fragile, Beware! I wore this jacket two times and it ripped by brushing against a tree. I barely touched the tree and the jacket exploded, feathers everywhere. Would not count on this jacket for any real expedition. It is very warm but for the price no jacket should rip like that. I live in Breckenridge and ski around 100 days a year and have for many years. I have never had a jacket rip so easily. Had I read this review, I would not have purchased the jacket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from overly large this jacket is a little too bulky for actual expedition standards...although it would be fine in an urban environment when its -10.
