Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for the price! I bought this jacket on a whim after having the zipper blow out on my third down sweater from a major competitor and am glad I did. This thing is made well, fit is great, and the amount of loft is perfect. I cannot attest to the water resistance of the treated down yet, but so far so good. The zipper has larger teeth which I feel will hold up better long term. If this performs and wears as well as other Mountain Hardwear jackets I’ve owned, I’m sure I will be warm and toasty wearing this jacket for years to come. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight warmth I purchased this jacket last month and have worn it frequently here in New England. Although very light in weight, it provides adequate warmth in 30 degeee weather. If the temp dropped into the teens, you would probably need an additional base layer. The jacket actually arrived sooner than expected which spoke well for Moosejaw’s attention to customer satisfaction. I’m very pleased with this purchase. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Strange cut I ordered this for my husband for Christmas. He loved the design and colors (navy/red) but the cut was really odd. The body was fine but the sleeves were way too long and the upper arms were huge and puffy on him. He's a slim guy, but still, he'd have to have body-builder arms to even begin to fill out the upper arm/shoulder area. It just looked silly. We ended up returning and finding a North Face jacket that fit him perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice jacket I like the jacket quite a bit. However I do think the sizing is a bit off. I order medium sized everything and it fits just right. But it his medium jacket is a bit large. It works well as an outer layer, but I don’t feel like it is made rugged enough and o be an outer layer. I’m afraid of getting a hole and losing down. Yet the jacket is a nice style and extremely warm for its weight. Also the down doesn’t get to hot when it warms up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from big in the body The large fits in the shoulders and the arm length is good for me (6'3"). However it is very wide in the arms and body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Lightweight and Warm! I love this jacket. It has become my new favorite when I need more than a hoodie. That doesn't mean that this is just a step up in warmth from a hoodie. This jacket is so deceivingly light yet warm at least down to 40 degrees alone and far more with layers. The down does poke through the jacket at times and I have found nothing else to do but to pull them when they appear. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice jacket Bought this last month for the colder weather. Does very well at keeping you nice and warm. I’ve read that it sometimes sheds feathers, but I haven’t had that happen as of yet. Fit is a bit bigger than I expected. Normally, I’m an XL, but I think a Large would fit a bit better. No big deal though. I recommend [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight but warm I have another Mtn Hdw dynotherm with a hood. I wanted one without the hood I am well pleased with the quality but am most impressed with the weight. Origally bought for backpacking but makes a great casual jacket. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I am 5'5" and weigh 70 kilograms. What would be my right size?

Asked by: Capricorn
Hi Capricorn, thanks for your question! Based on this very limited information, my best educated guess would be to put you in a Medium. Unfortunately, we only have Small and XL! Sorry, but I hope this helps!
