The Mountain Hardwear Men's Mt. Eyak Down Hoody proves that big warmth can come in a small package. Insulated with fluffy 600-fill duck down, this puffer jacket is nice and toasty while staying lightweight and compressible. It's great for hiking, backpacking, and climbing, and when you don't need it on, you can zip it away into its own pocket and toss it in your pack.

Just like the description!I haven't tested this hoody in cold weather (yet) but it is clearly of good quality and is well manufactured. I'm very happy with it - it exactly meets the description (which is refreshing these days), so I got what I expected, which is great. Highly Recommended.

Great, warm, lightweight Hoody[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this lightweight jacket now that I've moved to a colder clime. My other MH jackets were simply not rated for the degree of cold in the Midwest. Overall, the jacket fits a bit snug compared to many other MH jackets and while I'm a true XL in all of my other gear, this one is a bit tight in the chest and upper midriff compared to the rest of the proportions. The XXL was a bit too roomy and for reference, I am 6'1" and 220#. Not sure if it is the jacket's design or perhaps the lot? If one looks at the photo it is apparent that the jacket is a bit tighter in those areas mentioned.
Apart from the fit, the performance is quite good and the integrated hood is critical to the jacket's warmth. Freedom of movement is adequate despite the sizing issue and it is reasonably wind resistant with little infiltration. This is surprising given its light weight and shell material. Visibility and fit of the hood is solid as well. I've used the jacket comfortably in temperatures as low as 0 degrees F and wind as high as 15 mph.

Nice and warm[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really well made, warm and light weight. This might be the last jacket I ever buy. The hood is tight fitting and the pockets are big and lots of them.

Packable Down[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for my husband. It’s a great packable down jacket for him. Heavier weight than others for colder weather. It was a great fit.
