Product Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compliments [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this jacket for how it looked and the reviews. I am not disappointed. It's is warm without the bulk. It is a little snug so order the size up. I wear a medium in every jacket and shirt and the medium was a little too snug in the shoulders. Ordered the large and it fits perfect. I am 5'10.5" and 160lbs. Everywhere I go people compliment me on how nice the jacket is. No lie, I've had over a dozen people ask me what kind of jacket that is in just under a month. If you're looking for a jacket in temps below 10 degrees for extended amount of time, I'd look for a different jacket. However, a daily wear in cold weather is fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish coat, but has some faults. Love this coat, the colour is golden brown and beautiful. Comfy and strechy, and has kept me warm in -15, but still comfortable at 0. My only issue with it is the down does tend to migrate as the baffles are open throughout the jacket. A wash and a bit of work shaking it back to the shoulders has done the trick, but it's still a bit frustrating. But, the open baffles are alot more visually appealing in my opinion, so I'm willing to sacrifice that minor inconvenience. I wear a women's medium, and the men's small fits me well. Material is lightweight and breathable, but feels pretty durable still.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Utility, Style, and Comfort [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This easily replaced my patagonia medium weight down coat or my Arcteryx Atom AR. Looks good on me, has good pockets, and a good amount of fill. This is exactly what I wanted from this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mountain Hardware Comes Through [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quality jacket. Warm and light. Sleeves fit perfectly. They’re usually short on me. I haven’t seen any sign of a feather anywhere. Been wearing this over my OR down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and warm! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hooded jacket is extremely light and very warm. It is my go to jacket for those cold winter days. It’s the best puffy jacket I ever bought!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A big disappointment I bought this jacket online from a 3rd party. I give MH 2 stars for the innovation and the the stretch. However, the fit is standard and not trim fit, the cuffs are not tight to the wrist and the back is not longer than the front. All in all it is a miss for sure. I am not a MH client as their product is inferior to the kinds of RAB and Arcteryx but I thought that through the years they would have climbed the quality ladder but alas!. Needless to say that the product was returned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal Jacket I bought the Stretchdown hoody to fill a gap in my wardrobe for a down-insulated casual/all-around jacket. The warmth is excellent, and the jacket has surprising breathability, I stay warm at -15 Celsius, but don't overheat if the temps are closer to 0 C. The fit is great, and the stretch gives a lot of comfort and ease of motion. The face fabric feels durable without being heavy, and colour (Golden Brown) is gorgeous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Outerwear! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this fantastic mid-puffy for a month now and have been using it non-stop for my outdoor adventures as we have had some seriously below average temps here (even for AK!) The design and fit are perfect. I love being able to cinch the puffy hood around my noggin at the top of a run before chowing the pow. Five stars!
