The Mountain Hardwear Men's Summit Shadow GTX Insulated Jacket is a down parka that has you covered in a wide range of winter conditions. On the inside, lightweight and compressible duck down traps warmth without weighing you down. The GORE-TEX Infinium exterior is soft and comfortable while fending off the wind and repelling snow and wintry mixes. The insulated hood keeps you toasty from the top down, and one-handed cordlocks make it easy to batten the hatches while wearing gloves.

Warm and durable![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for Michigan winters! Gortex seals out wind and moisture. Insulation is warm but not too warm. Able to layer if need be. I am 6'2" 145lbs. Size M fits well and is long enough for my height.

Great jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good looking, super warm jacket - keeps the wind out very well. The Achilles heel is that the pockets are uninsulated, which seems crazy to me. For people with warm hands or good gloves!
The insulated hood, on the other hand, is fantastic. Haven't gotten it out in the snow yet but I think it'll handle it nicely.

Brian the Knife from
Nice Material, Good InsulationI bought this coat for a trip to Alaska. The gore tex material appears tough and durable and the insulation makes it super warm. My only quasi-complaint is that the fit of this coat is a little bit boxy for my liking. I'm 5'11 / 180lbs and size medium fits great in the shoulders, but the midsection is wide open. Good for layering, though, so that's something.

Excellent![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect down GTX jacket! Not too thick and not too heavy with rugged fabric for durability and pockets galore! I needed this jacket and searched high and low!

Super warm and looks great[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it for winters in NYC. Can wear it over a T-Shirt in all weather here. Great against wind and wet snow. Looks great too. Would highly recommend.
