I never want to take this thing off[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I now have three of these Mountain Hardware Super DS Jackets, two hoodies, and one regular jacket. I love the fit. I often have trouble with fit, and this usually most problematic in puffy jackets. I am broad shouldered and with most other puffies it feels like I’m going to rip them apart when I bring my arms forward. Between the fit, and the stretch, that’s not a problem with this jacket. It is warm without being too bulky, and the fabric is durable enough to be regularly as an outer layer. I have puffy jackets by Arc’teryx, and Patagonia too. I have lighter puffies, but none are as comfortable. I never want to take this thing off.

Perfect fit and features[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stretch down is amazing. It allows range of
Motion while still allowing you to get a proper close fit for heat retention.
MH stuff is built with a certain body type in mind. It’s made for climbers with slim/athletic builds and long arms. I’m grateful for this because that’s me. If it’s not you, look elsewhere as the fit will be awkward.
I couldn’t be happier with this jacket. I’m 6’2 185 with long arms and the L is a perfect fit.

It just works[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this jacket to keep me warm on a trip to higher elevation. So glad I bought this as it keep me warm with along with a thin hoodie I usually wear this time of year in the warm Phoenix weather. I love the color too. The cut is an active fit - not too big around the belly and just enough room to feel comfortable without feeling like I'm wearing skin tight cloths.

Lightweight and packable![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a active winter coat. I have my really heavy winter coat but it’s not great for movement. The super DS is great for winter hikes. It compresses down well in my day hike pack and kept me super warm on my hiking on MN north shore. My one complaint is the zipper is a bit drafty.

Amazing[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is slender and athletic and 6’4. He always has issues finding things for this build since he needs an XL and they get so wide. This fits him perfectly. It is athletic is structure with long sleeves and a long torso. Highly recommend for outdoorsy and athletically built.

Great Jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this jacket, it has all the warmth of down but is considerably more comfortable because of the stretch in the fabric. This is a medium weight jacket, I can wear it as a standalone down to about freezing, but below that you I need more layers.

Cheap zipper[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in the fall and have used it lightly around town. On vacation and the coldest day here, three teeth on the cheap plastic zipper break making the jacket useless in the cold and wind. No way this jacket would hold up to any real use.

Best ‘keep warm’ jacket ever![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I got it I started to wear it and it showed its quality immediately. It’s light, great design and SO warm. Thank for for it living up to its reputation. Steve WA AUSTRALIA (in winter it’s cold out here!!!)
