I nearly love this skirtThe washed raisin color, and the cut, are great. Very flattering, and the color is sort of a brownish slightly mauve, slightly iridescent and shiny, and goes with a lot of stuff.
What I don't understand though is the sizing, and the lack of side zipper. I am 5' 3" tall, and 110#. I ordered the small, and could barely pull this skirt on over my not-super-impressive white girl booty and thighs. But once it's on, it fits just right, so I wouldn't want to wear a medium. If there was a zipper, like Skhoop products, then the problem is solved.
I do like the color so much, and we wear these so often in Alaska, that I think I'm going to have a zipper put in so I can get in and out of it. I would *also* be really nice if they actually included some insulation, but there is a place for non-insulated outerwear skirts during our shoulder seasons.

Wanna love it . . . but[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sending it back as the fit is too snug to be an athletic piece - can get it on, but doesn't allow room to move. I have another MHW insulated skirt in medium that fits perfectly, with room to move (hike in it, Xcountry ski in it), but I would need a large in this, and not sure how the fit would be sizing up. Maybe it's just my "athletic booty" getting in the way? 5'6" and 145 lbs here, but I'd actually recommend this to those with a slimmer lower half - it's super cute!

Not truly athleticThis skirt is cute but it doesn't stretch. I bought it to wear cross country skiing and without the stretch it wouldn't work. I had to send it back. If you want something cute to cover your buns otherwise, it's a sweet skirt.

No insulation[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this snow skirt last week. Extremely quick shipping, and the style is cute, however the snow skirt had only 2 layers of nylon, no insulation at all.

Best winter trail running skirt![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own two of these and they are in constant rotation all winter. So comfortable to hike and run in. The perfect length to wear over leggings.

Desperately needs a zipperI should have taken the advice in other reviews. Cute skirt, very flattering once on. But getting it on is a challenge! There is no give in the waistband - a zipper would fix the whole problem - and so getting out is equally challenging. Ended up giving these (I bought two) to my daughter and reordered a size up for myself. Nothing makes a girl feel better than getting a skirt stuck half way over the butt :(

Who knew you needed a trekking skirt??[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this around Black Friday after my booty was freezing when I went running or walked my dog. This is a perfect piece to toss on for some extra thigh & butt warmth, while also super cute! Wore it on vacation for hiking in the cold as well as being outside in 17 degree weather in Flagstaff on NYE. Would recommend!

love it![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and glad I did. It runs small so I purchased a medium. I little shorter than my other skirts and not much quilting. But I throw it on after a yoga class for that extra winter layer that works great when I need to make a few stops after class.
