Durable Water Repellent
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Great backpacking pants!I love these! They don't drag on the ground and soak up water like a paper towel ( like a lot of my other hiking pants). They're light, comfy, and my buttcrack doesn't hang out when I kneel down. I just wore them on 50mile backpack trip and they were perfect. I definitely don't love the light khaki color, so if I bought more I'd get a color that doesn't make me look like a waitress at Applebee's. The tapered pant leg may not be everyone's "style" but I think it makes them extremely functional.

These pants are very comfortable, and seem well-made. The fabric is super stretchy and they have great range of movement - almost seem more like tights than pants in that regard. My only small beef with them is that the fabric is very thin, and so the pockets make big lumps. Worn without a longer shirt or jacket they look tacky, but since they're for hiking that isn't really a big deal.

Trail PantsThese are a great lightweight everyday pants. They are not warm, but they are great for a variety of weather outside. They are very snug for traditional sizing. Be sure to look at the size chart before ordering, to ensure you get the right size waist. Fabric is lightweight and quick drying.

Sounds of the 90sI tried on these pants, and I thought they were a great fit and was hoping they would be able to be worn for work in a business casual way. The sound of them when I walk reminds me of the 90s track suits, so I definitely can't wear them for work. I'm hoping to find another use for them.

nice color!My favortie parts of these pants are the stretch fabric and the back pocket zippers since I usually keep my wallet there. I have very muscular calves and the cut is a little tight for my lower legs but not horrible. These pants will serve me well for hiking and everyday use.

Not for hiking!I usually take a size 4 in slacks but had to return for a size 6...very tight from the hips to knees but baggy in the calves...unusual sizing...wasn't willing to return again for an 8 so the jury's out whether I will actually wear them in the future or give them away.

Great pants!These fit well, I am short so like all pants they are a little long. Other than that they look great, fit well, and are perfect for a day at work or on the trail.

Nice pant, lightweight, unfortunately not made for curvy women. little short on the length for a 5'9" woman. would need at least a 32 inseam.
