My new favourite tent!
The Hubba Tour 3 is my new favourite tent and my latest MSR tent to add to my collection (they make the BEST tents!). As an avid backcountry canoeist in Ontario, Canada, I travel deep into the backcountry on a regular basis from May through October. This tent makes setting up/taking down in the rain not only easy (as it is to do either on the best of days), but also keeps the interior dry so that when I arrive at my next campsite the inside isn't wet. The exoskeleton pole frame system is genius. Setup is completed in a matter of minutes and no more trying to figure out which way to flip the fly around to - it's already attached! Honestly, I generally am a minimalist as I travel solo *most* of the time, but I got the 3 as I do occasionally bring the family. It fits me and the pooch comfortably without them and all of us cozily together. It is (I believe?) MSR's largest interior floor space 3-person tent by dimensions - and it shows, compared to my Carbon Reflex 3 (also amazing). The vestibule is by far the highlight and best part of this tent, and if I were to offer *one* suggestion it would be to make the vestibule pole also attach with clips instead of pushing the pole through the nylon as this can cause tears down the road, however I'm no expert and have no idea if this is even possible, but it would just make setup and breaking camp that much easier. All in all, this is another great product from MSR and it is well worth its expensive price tag. Four large bundles of guy-line are included, and with many more guy-out points, this tent is indestructible in most conditions. I foresee a long, happy relationship with the Hubba Tour 3 for many years to come. I also survived a three-hour thunderstorm, with torrential downpours and water literally pooling under the tent, but the 'XtremeShield' (TM!) coating kept it all dry (always use the footprint anyway!). #homeiswhereyoustakeit

something wrong with the backdoor
the first night in my new hubba tour 3 was a rainy one. And in the morning, we saw that the back door canopy was adhered with the rainfly. And obviously water falled in the canopy. My advice to avoid this is to use ropes on the 2 back door panels. MSR should had additionnal ropes to do this (only one rope spare... a shame considering the price). If MSR want to send me some additionnal ropes...

I bought this tent in April of this year and took it on a canoe trip to Wabakimi in Northern Ontario for the last two weeks of July. We had a few significant thunderstorms and the tent leaked. Water came through the fly and the tent making us and all the gear in the tent and vestibule wet. I'm a big MSR fan, but I feel let down with this tent.
