Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Night's Sleep! Bought this bag about 3 months ago and have used it on 3 camping trips so far, ranging from 28 degrees up to 70 degrees so far. At 28 degrees, I was a bit chilly...this may be due to the bag design (more air due to the spoon shape to heat up and keep warm). I think adding a liner would fix this easily and would be good for the bag (less washing). The designs of the thermo gills were good for warmer weather as I could open them to keep cool. The one thing I didn't like about the traditional mummy bags is that I couldn't move and my feet were so close together. The spoon shape fixes this and makes it comfortable to sleep in! Definitely would recommend this to someone else!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, Comfortable and Lightweight I have had this bag about two years now. I have used it in the mountains in low teen temps and near sea level at temps in the 50-60"s. In warmer temps I slept with the zipper partially or all the way down and the vent's open. In cold temps everything was zipped up. I am a cold sleeper so in cold temps I will always wear a smart wool base layer to bed. With this bag I was comfortably warm with temps in the low teens. With everything unzipped in warmer climes, I was able to adjust the bag so I was not too warm. The bag has never been wet so I cannot comment on how well it does when damp. However, in my experience, I find this bag perfect for back packing due to its comfort and low weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally!! Comfy for the big man! I'm not what anyone would consider “average” sized. At 6’5 and 265 lbs. I am hard to fit, but NEMO got this one RIGHT!! I’m a side sleeper who tosses and turns too, and I have room to do that in this bag. It’s plenty warm, lightweight (consider my other options!) and it packs down nicely in S2S compression dry bag. I have over a half-dozen nights in this bag so far and I’m thoroughly impressed. Thanks NEMO!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adequate 3 season bag I love the roominess of this bag. I am a side sleeper with ridiculously wide shoulders, so most mummy-type bags do not work well for me, so I jumped on this bag when I saw it. I love the gills for summertime use, and the pillow pocket is large enough to stuff my puffy into it. The whole thing compresses down to the size of a honeydew and weighs next to nothing. The biggest knock that I have is that it does not even come close to its 15 degree rating. I recently spent a night in the mid-30s and woke up very cold, even wearing long underwear and a beanie. Luckily, I have a warmer bag that I can use in winter. Bottom line, this is a great 3 season bag, but it should not be the only arrow in your quiver if you plan to camp in winter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Amazing Design, Falls Short of Ratings I bought a Disco 30 back in May. Took it on a couple warmer night camps and performed great. Super comfy, incredibly compact and lightweight. The spoon design is really excellent, you almost forget it's a sleeping bag. Unfortunately, I took this bag on my first Fall camp out this past week. At midnight, the temps were 45 and by 7am 39. I froze and shivered all night, while wearing full thermals, wool socks, full cinched the hood was laying on a Nemo pad. After a couple hours, I dug a hoodie, some sweatpants and my puffy out of my bag and wrapped up in them. I was quite disappointed that at 40+ degrees out with thermals on, this bag failed to keep me anywhere close to comfortable. I guess a better bag is on the horizon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The last style of bag I will ever buy! I've spent years backpacking, hunting, and fighting wildfires in the backcountry and I've continuously had issues finding a system that is comfortable most of the year, not terribly heavy, and extremely durable. The search for the perfect system brought me to NEMO. I bought this bag after trying about 15 different bags at REI one day. I was in the market for a new bag for hunting and backpacking trips and this definitely fits the bill. I have always hated mummy bags because of their super tight nature and I could never keep them zipped all night. (For reference I am about 6'1 260lbs with a 54in chest.) This bag I am able to completely zip up and sleep comfortably all night long, coupled with my NEMO sleeping bad and inflatable pillow. It's the best sleeping combo I've ever had, I won't be going back. Note: The water-resistant down and water repellent on the bag is totally rad, I've rarely slept in a tent with this bag and I have had zero issues with the bag getting wet (even in a light rain storm). I can throw it in my stuff sack (that's included) and hang it for about an hour afterwards and it dries out super fast. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My absolute favorite I've never been a fan of mummy bags. For me, the tightness around my feet and the overall shape have always been too constricting for me. Last year I went on a long camping trip visiting Joshua Tree, Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, and Mammoth. After the first stint in Joshua Tree, I realized that the bag I had was not cutting it. I was cold, uncomfortable, and barely slept. I was able to pick up a Disco bag (15 degree) before the next leg. Being a side sleeper who doesn't like restricting mummy bags, I was immediately intrigued by the shape and decided to give this bag a shot. Wow. The spoon shape makes such a huge difference! I was surprised how much this change in shape could allow me to sleep more comfortably. I also really like the other features of this bag. The waterproof footbox is fantastic and comes in handy when you are in a full tent butted up against the side. The thermo gills are also super nice and way better than just unzipping half of your sleeping bag to cool down. I also find the blanket fold extra cozy. I couldn't be more happy with a sleeping bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for side sleeping I’ve been overall happy with the bag. I’m 6’5”, about 250 lbs and I’m a restless sleeper so a normal mummy style bag feels like being in a straight jacket. With this one, I’ve got plenty of room to kick around and I don’t feel constricted when I turn on my side. I haven’t taken it out into any really cold weather, but 20s-30s feels fine, maybe even a little warm. I sleep pretty hot, and I didn’t notice much difference when I opened the gills so I’m not sure how well they work for letting off heat. I do really like the extra bit of material that gives the tucked-in feeling. Basically, a really solid bag with some interesting extra features you won’t find on others.
