The Nemo Moonlite Reclining Chair is an ultralight chair for sitting in the outdoors. Carry it into the backcountry if you wish, at just under two pounds, it's not only possible, but incredibly comfortable to sit on once you get there. The aluminum frame and polyester fabric can handle a 300 lb capacity and has an adjustable seating position. Sit up for dinner, lean back a touch once your full and then once the stars come out, adjust once more back and you're fully relaxing.

The design is made with alot of attention to detail, and being able to recline in comfort is so nice. I didn't know I wanted that until I got it! Great for days at the lake, in the living room, doing computer work, or packing it up to an alpine lake, it goes everywhere with me!

I've had similar ultra portable chairs in the past, and every single one has had plastic hubs that eventually break, and none of them has had the comfort and height of this one. I'm 180 pounds and this chair feels very solid whether I sit upright or lean all the way back. I can't speak to durability, but by design it seems way stronger than other options I've tried. This chair lets you adjust your weight and recline without accidentally unbalancing or stressing the chair joints as happens with plastic hubs. The reinforced ball sockets for the mesh attachment are much easier to use than many chairs where you have to struggle to stretch the weak receiver pockets over the frame ends. The recline tension adjustment serves two purposes- you don't have to assemble under so much tension, and of course you can recline at several angles. The weight is about as light as I can imagine before the chair would become shorter, weaker, less comfortable, or less durable, all of which I've seen in similar chairs. While an ultra portable chair is not always what you want it can always be with you. Note, if you are a larger person, the width of the seat is only moderate and you will probabaly not be comfortable in this or many ultra portable chairs, although there are wider chairs available in this class.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Compact, Mostly Comfy Camp Chair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are full time nomads traveling in our Airstream trailer and needed a packable chair that wouldn’t take up too much space. We love this chair. It is very compact when stowed, so met this requirement perfectly for us. It is low to the ground, as expected and pretty comfortable for my wife (5’4”), but not as comfy for me at 6’3”. This is a minor sacrifice as it works great for siting around a camp fire for an hour or so, but it’s a bit narrow across the back for extended sitting. Just gives me a reason to not sit around too long. All-in-all, it meets our needs very well and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a compact, sturdy, light-weight (relatively) chair.

Super easy to set up, durable fabric, nice strong frame. Very comfortable in any position. I’m really looking forward to using this chair on my trip to the Cascades next month. Great job NEMO!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pinches Back I’ve been waiting for this chair to come in stock and really wanted to love it, but it’s not for me. The top ends of the support poles really dig in to my back and are extremely uncomfortable. It creates a sensation like it’s pinching my back. Other than that it seems like a nice chair - it’s very stable and the material is nice and stretchy. But unfortunately I’ll be returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoying mountain sunsets in style [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this chair during my 4 day hiking and camping trip in the NC mountains. The chair is very comfortable and easy to assemble. Quick disassembly still allowed for easy storage in its storage bag. Two improvements would be side storage packets and an increased reclining position.
