Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fatal flaw on ankle bone [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a couple pairs of Oboz hiking shoes and boots and was really hopeful these would work! However, the part of the boot between the Oboz label and the BDry metal piece on the outer side digs right into my ankle bone. The boot caves in there (seemingly by design, along the stitched part), and I would be bleeding if I wore these even for a mile. It didn't seem it would soften up because of the shape of the shoe. So disappointed to return them. The top part was soft and I wasn't concerned it would hurt the back of my calf like some taller models do.

The first one is still alright, and has been through several winters. Boot has super good traction, is not bulky, warm enough (and Oboz does make a warmer boot), light enough to wear on road trips driving and hiking, too. This is my all-around winter boot = november-april, so far, living at 10000+feet. and, surprisingly - it stays clean even if used in mud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot in Quebec winter! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just moved to Canada and needed a really warm boot. These boots were great from the start. They fit perfectly in my regular size and were so comfortable from the get go. I mean plushy comfortable. If the tread weren't so rough and ready, I'd wear em to bed! I came up here from South Georgia and was terrified of having cold feet but at 11 F, my feet were toasty. I couldn't be happier with these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent boots [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Oboz waterproof insulated leather boot is the absolutely perfect choice for working outdoors in the cold and wet. The sizing is perfect and they have NO break in!! They felt like old friends the minute i laced them up and took off. I work outside caring for horses and teaching lessons. I`m really hard on my boots. These really stood up to the task and I didn`t even have to use toe warmers!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So long cold toes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these boots about a month ago as I was looking for a pair of boots that would keep my feet warm and be used for hiking and snowshoeing. I am SO glad I bought these! They required zero break in time. I took them out of the box and took them straight out to the trails. They were immediately comfortable and kept my feet warm. I always struggle with cold feet but that will no longer be a problem with these boots! They work great with my snowshoes and my gators. 10/10 recommend

It's like they keep my feet going. Good traction, too. I have worn them on several hikes in snow and ice, and have not had to add my spikes. They look like they will hold up for a long time. I am so happy I got them.

However, the boots were too narrow and didn’t have much room for my toes. I had looked forward to snowshoeing in these boots this winter. (First we need snow!) I ordered a whole size bigger than my dress shoes.
