The Oboz Women's Sapphire Mid Bdry Boot is a hiking boot for taking comfort onto the trails. This is really where sneaker and boot combine, delivering a comfortable fit that is tough enough for the hike. It won't drag you down to keep the hike fast and won't wear out like a tennis shoe would in rough terrain. The EVA midsole with TPU chassis and ESS plate provide support and comfort that flexes through the steps while preventing stones from bruising underfoot. The Swiftcurrent outsole offers plenty of lugs in various directions to deliver the traction necessary whether you're gathering supplies in town or taking on a monster switchback. Trudge the trails rain or shine, the B-DRY waterproof membrane provides waterproof, breathable protection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit Just got these boots yesterday. I have a winter pair of Oboz boots and love them. So, I ordered these for fall hiking. Unfortunately these run more narrow than I thought. Due to a bunion on my foot I found it painful just to try on. This has nothing to do with the quality of the product. I love the quality. However, the 1 thing I did find that would drive me nuts?? The top leather squeaks each time I walk. I am afraid I would get very irritated with that in the quietness of the woods. For those reasons, I will unfortunately have to return them. I will have to look for a wider toe box to accommodate my darn bunion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to buy my first pair of hiking boots as a 22 year old and did my research for a while before stumbling across these! The reviews seemed too good to be true so I decided to give them a go. I LOVE these boots. All the reviews seem to be accurate- take a little to break in the top leather part and they aren’t the most breathable boots but they feel like your foot is on a cloud. SUPER light weight. VERY supportive. And so cute. Unfortunately, I only got to wear them on a hard hike once before COVID shut down all LA trails but I’ve been wearing them inside and in the yard a lot. Every time I put them on, they feel more molded to my feet. my feet are just over 10 inches long and I got a 9.5 which is the size the site suggested and my toe just barely touches the end but it hasn’t been a problem. If I got a 10, the boot overall would be too big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these boots! I bought these boots for a trip to Scotland where I knew we would be doing a lot of walking and hiking. I am so happy that I bought these boots. They are very comfortable, provide great support, and in my opinion are one of the more stylish pairs of hiking boots that I saw. It is important to wear tall socks because otherwise, the top of the boots will rub on your legs. I wear a 6.5 in shoes and a 7 in sneakers and went with the 7 in these boots and they are a good fit. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the way they fit--like a glove--so my feet don't move around, yet the interior has just the right amount of cushioning and support. A little stiff at the top, so I just make sure I am wearing socks that are high enough. I also love the way they look--not too clunky. I wear a 7.5 in street shoes, but always buy 8.5 in athletic and hiking footwear. 8.5 was the right size for me in Oboz. Highly recommend!

I have very problematic feet, from too many broken feet and ankles, plantar fasciatis, and a torn peroneal tendon and achilles problems. I thought my walking and hiking days were over....until I bought my first pair of Oboz Bridgers....I am now hiking at least 4 times a week, painfree in my feet for the first time in years. I then seen the Sapphire and liked their style and color, so purchased them, and certainly have not been disappointed. There seems to be no break in time, they feel fantastic from the first moment you put them on. Oboz boots has truly been life changing for me, as I did not want to give up walking and hiking. I have also worn them horseback riding, they come out of the stirrups with no problems.

I knew there would be some rain, but I had no idea it would be a day they ended up shutting down and evacuating the park due to flooding concerns! These boots stayed dry through the hike up to the waterfall and back down. I was shocked when I got back to my cabin and my socks were dry. They were comfortable and supportive as well. I recommend these hiking boots for moderate hiking.
