If you need to pause for a fix, grab the included roll-up tool pouch or reach for the right item within the main compartment's tool organization and hopefully you'll be back on the trail shortly.

Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great versatile pack! This is a great all around bag. It has a hydro reservoir with plenty of capacity, easily accessible on the magnetic chest strap There is an easily accessible zippered pouch for sunglasses/phone, and a large compartment for your hiking essentials (first aid kit, extra clothes, flashlight, knife, or more). The front expandable pouch is also great for those extras you may want to bring. I've used this while trail running as it has stayed comfortable and tightly strapped while running. I've also used this is Disneyland with kids to have water on hand, but it is a little small if you pick up too much stuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Genius hydration tube design! I buy a new hydration pack every two years. After years of Camelbak, I tried Osprey. They were always close but no cigar, in my opinion. As far as I'm concerned, this pack is Osprey's first out of the park, grand slam home run. I found it at the HUB in Brevard, NC, and when I saw the zipper channel that opens the hydraulics compartment, BAM, I was sold. My wife and I were early adopters of Camelbak in the early 90s so we have logged thousands of hours and miles with them. The Raptor is the first time any company has come up with the perfect bladder solution. Now, we both have them and as long as they keep the design (or improve it) we will stay with Osprey as a brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big fan of this pack Use this pack for Mountain biking and day hikes and Im kind of blown away with the perceived simplicity of the pack, despite the complex design of the bag. This is the ultimate sign of success from a designers POV. The main compartment is simple, yet offers utility as well. The stuff pocket on the back is perfect for a light layer to get tucked away quickly, or pulled out quickly. The tool pouch is out of the way but there for when you need it. Even the zipper pulls or well thought out, nice and wide, smooth pulling sensation. I would buy this bag over and over again if I had to, but I can see that the construction is well made, so I probably wont have to. Nice work Osprey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hydration pack I’ve had yet! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After owning many other hydration packs over the years, non have been built like this! The craftsmanship is top notch. Every pocket is well thought out, well stitched and is durable. The back panel vents very well which is nice living here in Florida. The pack stays very secure while I’m out riding my bike. Overall it’s a great buy and I’ll be picking up some Osprey packs for other purposes after using this one. I can see great use out of it for years to come

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality construction, great bladder pouch Great bladder with wide opening which is helpful when adding ice. Bladder is easier to install than other popular packs due to the wide zipper opening which is one of the main reasons for getting this pack. The zippered pouch on the waist belt is a good idea but poorly designed since I cannot reach back that far to access it. The magnetic bite valve holder takes some getting used to. It is easy to grab the valve but harder to get quickly back in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well thought out MTB pack [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Raptor 10 comes in one size that is very adjustable. I'm 5'10" (178cm) and 160 pounds (72.5 kg) with a 32" waist (81 cm), athletic build. The back length of the pack is about right for me but would still be appropriate if it were an inch or two longer or shorter so it would probably still fit for anyone between 5'6" and 6'6" I would guess. The arm straps, on me, have about 4 inches of excess so I could easily fit a very bulky sweater and jacket underneath if cycling in winter. They could be cinched up another few inches as well so someone with smaller shoulders/upper body could still comfortably wear the pack. The waist band can be increased an additional 10 inches or tightened about 4 inches so I'd estimate the pack would fit a waist between 28" and 42" easily without modification. The chest strap is magnetized with a clip and has lots of room for adjustment as well. The materials and workmanship seem robust. Durable cordura type material is well sewn. Mine is red with grey and black buckles. Each zipper has a plastic loop pull to make it easy to grab with gloved hands. The zippers themselves are good quality YKK metal (plastic teeth on the zip) although not as heavy/large as you might see on, say the sleeping bag compartment, of a larger pack. A heavy rain would wet this through and get everything in side damp but light rain isn't going to ruin anything inside. In total there are six zipping compartments plus one clip/elastic pouch on the very back. The first compartment holds the (included) water bladder and the majority of the hose. The bladder is good quality and has a tacky self-seal against small leaks as well as a sliding clamp type seal. On mine the valve leaks a drop or two while riding if I leave it in the open position but stops if I turn the valve to the closed position. I wish it didn't leak as I don't like taking the time to close the valve. The second, main, compartment holds roughly 10 litres of sweaters, food, jacket, or first aid kit. The compartment has a sub-compartment with zipper and key clip for your wallet or small items and keys. There are also three mesh/elastic open-topped compartments for other items - I use them for keeping snacks handy. The third compartment is for electronics, I guess. It is lined with a soft material so it won't scratch screens or sunglass lenses and is quite small, although plenty large enough for a modern phone. My OnePlus 6T fits vertically or horizontally with at least a half inch to spare in either orientation. There is a tools (4th) compartment on the bottom that both zips and has a small clip to prevent the zipper from opening inadvertently. Inside is a detachable tool roll with two zippered compartments for small items. Tire levers and multitools easily fit, as does a spare 29er tube but full-size shop tools likely will not. The zippered small parts compartments are a nice touch so you don't lose a spare master link or derailleur hanger, if you carry one. Both sides of the hip belt have a small zippered compartment but your phone likely will not fit in them. My phone is 157.5 millimeters x 74.8 and does not fit but, even if it did, that part of the belt curves around your hip and it would either be uncomfortable or could damage your phone when you cinch the belt up. Nutrition fits well here - gels, bars, small bags of nuts, etc. - and it is nice to have it so accessible. The pack has some additional features that I find useful. - A haul loop for when it is full, including the 2.5 litres maximum capacity of water. - Helmet clip to help keep your gear from getting separated if you have to throw it with other people's bags in the back of a truck, for instance. I hang mine up for storage on this loop. - Mesh back panel and absorbent arm straps for hot days. - One compression strap on each side so the pack won't flop around on your back if it is only partially full. This helps to control flop when the bladder is half empty as well. - Magnetic clip for the bladder hose on the chest strap which, so far, has not released except when I want it to. It holds the hose very tight to your chest so it won't snag on things but is easy to disengage even while riding. If you did snag a branch, it should release at the chest rather than tear the hose but I hope I won't be testing this theory. - Clipped and elasticized back compartment that could hold a damp base layer that you've removed but don't want to put inside the pack or even a light jacket. The clip would hold compressible clothing secure but I wouldn't put anything else in this compartment that could fall out. Even a pump wouldn't be secure here unless you clipped it somehow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Indiana Jones wears one [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A pack for your back as described. Holds tools, jacket, two beers, jellybeans, and grandpas cough medicine just fine without rattling around. Pouch up top is ideal for your bowl. Osprey warranty duh....

Please note that the info provided above refers to the Torso Size / Length the pack will fit, and NOT any dimensions of the pack. Below are steps for how to measure your torso length. You should have someone help take this measurement for you so it is accurate.

HOW to MEASURE TORSO LENGTH:
1. Start at the iliac crest, which is the top of the hipbones on the side of your body. These act like a shelf for supporting a pack hipbelt.
2. Touch your chin to your chest to find the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck.
3. Make sure you keep your back as straight as possible while measuring.
4. Measure the full length from the C7 vertebrae to the iliac crest. This torso measurement determines what size Osprey pack you should carry. Refer to the size chart above to find your ideal size.
5. If you are in between sizes, it is ideal to try them both on before ordering.

HOW to MEASURE CHEST MEASUREMENT:
Measure around the fullest part of the chest.

Warranty Info

ALL MIGHTY GUARANTEE - Osprey's Lifetime Warranty

When Osprey celebrated their 35th anniversary in 2009 they launched The Osprey All Mighty Guarantee. What that means to you is ANY Osprey product purchased at ANY time is covered. Any product, any reason, any era - the all encompassing Osprey lifetime warranty ensures their dedication to superior design, craftsmanship and quality of their products is backed up by their actions to replace or repair a pack so it lasts a lifetime. Or two.

Here are some details.... Osprey will repair for any reason, free of charge, any damage or defect in their products, whether it was purchased back in 1974, or ordered right now from this site. If they are unable to perform a functional repair on your pack, they will happily replace it. Osprey proudly stands behind the All Mighty Guarantee, so much so that it bears the signature of company founder and head designer, Mike Pfotenhauer.

Some Osprey All Mighty Guarantee FAQs:

What do I do if my Osprey pack needs to be repaired?
If you live in the United States and need a repair done on your Osprey pack, you will first need to obtain a Return Authorization number. You can do this by reaching their Returns Department at 866-314-3130, or using the information that is provided with a new Osprey pack.

What do I do if I just need a replacement pack part like a buckle?
Give Osprey a call at 866-314-3130 and they will take care of you.

How long will it take?
You can tell Osprey you need the pack returned by a certain date when you request a Return Authorization number, and they will do their absolute best to meet that deadline.

What if my pack is super dirty and stinks?
Clean it before you send it to Osprey to get repaired. The real reason is that there is a law that says if your gear is too dirty or odiferous (smelly), Osprey is not allowed to repair it and will just return it to you.

Do I have to pay for shipping?
A little bit. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the pack to Osprey, and they will pay shipping to return the pack via UPS or FedEx. Osprey cannot be held responsible if packages get lost in transit, so make sure you get a tracking number when you ship your pack out. Also, if you use expedited shipping be sure to let Osprey know (866-314-3130). They, in turn, will give your pack priority processing and return it using a similar expedited shipping method.

Do I have to register my pack to take advantage of this incredible guarantee, and/or need to be the original owner of my Osprey pack?
No! Osprey's All Mighty Guarantee is truly ALL MIGHTY. If you own an Osprey pack that needs to be repaired they will repair or replace it.

JUST A HEADS UP: If your Osprey product is not repairable and is replaced, the original product will not be returned to you. They will try really really hard to repair your pack, but if they are unable to make a functional repair, they will replace it. For products that are no longer in production you will be contacted by Osprey to discuss replacement options.

All good answers. So what is NOT covered?
• Osprey program packs or any Osprey pack used by outdoor programs are ONLY covered under Osprey's Program Pack Warranty, NOT AMG.
• Size and/or fit issues. Make sure you buy a pack that fits. Check out the size guide on Osprey product pages for more info.
• Personal preferences like colors you don't like, style of the pack, or not enough/too much room in your pack. Check the product description, features, specifications, and size guide to make sure you are ordering the right pack for you.
• Third party Repairs or replacements. Send your Osprey pack to Osprey and Osprey only to get fixed. Easy as that. And don't try fixing things yourself.
• Cosmetic wear and tear including any reasonable aging of your pack that affects only the appearance and not the function of your pack. Be proud of those scars!
• B.A.M.G. (Before All Mighty Guarantee) Repair Work. The All Mighty Guarantee applies only to repairs requested on or after January 1, 2009.
• A Osprey Hydraulics reservoir is covered by a limited 1-year warranty, which is the reasonable lifespan of a reservoir. Pouring and storing of warm/hot or boiling water in your reservoir WILL VOID your warranty, so don't do that. Reservoirs are NOT designed to contain or handle liquids at temperature.
