The Osprey Raven 14 Hydration Pack is a small size pack for carrying gear while mountain biking. Small, perhaps but definitely mighty, as the 14L pack includes a 2.5L hydration reservoir as well as space for more. The reservoir is holstered in a separate sleeve, keeping water away from the rest of your gear. A removable tool roll is also included, which can be conveniently housed in a direct-zip access section at the bottom of the pack. That leaves all the other stuff from rain shell to snacks in the main compartment.

Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Comfort [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month or so ago and I love it. I literally wear it everywhere I go. With it’s vented design for my entire back and the low profile settings for my shoulders, this biking backpack is extremely easy and lightweight. I use it to not only store 2.5L’s of fresh water but I do also carry my Laptop Pro and IPad Pro without throwing my center of gravity off one bit. Not to mention the magnetic clip for my nozzle, keeping it out of the way of each stride but also keeping it right in front of me for easy use. Thanks a lot Osprey you guys are the very best. Yours truly, ARMY VET GUARDIOLA

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Raven 14 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Verve 9 and wanted a slightly larger pack; the Raven 14 fits the need. I like the toolkit pocket and roll in the bottom of this one. The opening of the side-zip organization pocket is too small, though. The zipper needs to come up higher, to the top, or even all the way around to the other side. The very front, quick-release pocket is convenient for items you want handy but are too big for the wing pockets. The wing pockets are a very nice addition making easy access to small items, so you don't have to take off the pack so much. I got the "violet grey", which is a cool grey - even in the sun you'd be hard-pressed to call it "violet" at all. I like the pack, overall. A few tweaks would make it perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pack [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My preferred pack for long rides or winter rides. There is room to sore my gear between rides and during rides (when my gear is on my body), I can keep layers, extra water, and everything I need in the bag. There are many pockets to keep things organized to keep things from jingling around. I didn't read the description totally I guess, but I thought it would come with tools in the tool roll. It did not, but that is on my for not reading fully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t go wrong with osprey [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great compact bag with a lot of pockets. Comes with a 2 1/2 L hydration bag. The extra organization pocket from the first model has been removed and replaced with a side zippered storage pocket. Which is kind of small and hard to use the slanted organization pockets unless you’re putting in smaller flatter type items it does have a staff pocket in the front where the former organization pocket used to be and it is completely open at the top. It has an awesome tool kit in the bottom the same as the previous model and the interior color is awesome it’s bright I have the gray bag with the bluish turquoise accent color. The bag is very comfortable very small very useful it’s a great Product and it wears well. I do miss the former organization pocket as she had more storage options than this version but overall it is a great bag for the price and will last for many many years if properly cared for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new pack! It is perfect for mountain biking and hiking. I’ve given it a good amount of use in since buying it a couple weeks ago and it has been great. I love the water reservoir size and the pockets are just right for the amount of gear I bring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What I've come to expect from Osprey [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Osprey hydration pack, but not my first Osprey pack. It's everything I would expect from Osprey construction and 85% there on design, and although I've only been using it for a few weeks, certainly seems to be there for durability. Great variety for pockets and combination useful empty space and organizing. Improvement would be to have an attachment point for the hydration tube on the right hand strap to keep the tube from swinging when it's not fully buckled on. I've kludge-fixed this with a rubber band. Just a hair wider and I could get my 13" work laptop in it, but, then, didn't buy it for a work bag. My fiance's Raptor 14 does fit the laptop. Also, I rarely buy bags without trying them first, so sure enough, it doesn't quite fit my torso (wants to ride up on waist and doesn't sit on hips) without bouncing when mountain biking even with adjustments. But I still like it a lot and it's gotten dirty on some fun adventures already.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maximized small pack! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome hydro pack- the layout of this pack is practical and efficient. The bottom tool pouch can be reached while wearing the pack, there is room for everything you need, and accessorized perfectly with the lid lock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Hydration Pack/Backpack Ever! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of the backpack is exceptional. Just buy it. It's awesome. I bought one for my wife and one for myself. Plenty of room for H2O and first-aid, and goodies.

Please note that the info provided above refers to the torso size the pack will fit, and NOT any dimensions of the pack. Below are steps for how to get your torso length. You should have someone help take this measurement for you so it is accurate.

HOW to MEASURE TORSO LENGTH:
1. Start at the iliac crest, which is the top of the hipbones on the side of your body. These act like a shelf for supporting a pack hipbelt.
2. Touch your chin to your chest to find the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck.
3. Make sure you keep your back as straight as possible while measuring.
4. Measure the full length from the C7 vertebrae to the iliac crest. This torso measurement determines what size Osprey pack you should carry. Refer to the size chart above to find your ideal size.
5. If you are in between sizes, it is ideal to try them both on before ordering.

Warranty Info

ALL MIGHTY GUARANTEE - Osprey's Lifetime Warranty

When Osprey celebrated their 35th anniversary in 2009 they launched The Osprey All Mighty Guarantee. What that means to you is ANY Osprey product purchased at ANY time is covered. Any product, any reason, any era - the all encompassing Osprey lifetime warranty ensures their dedication to superior design, craftsmanship and quality of their products is backed up by their actions to replace or repair a pack so it lasts a lifetime. Or two.

Here are some details.... Osprey will repair for any reason, free of charge, any damage or defect in their products, whether it was purchased back in 1974, or ordered right now from this site. If they are unable to perform a functional repair on your pack, they will happily replace it. Osprey proudly stands behind the All Mighty Guarantee, so much so that it bears the signature of company founder and head designer, Mike Pfotenhauer.

Some Osprey All Mighty Guarantee FAQs:

What do I do if my Osprey pack needs to be repaired?
If you live in the United States and need a repair done on your Osprey pack, you will first need to obtain a Return Authorization number. You can do this by reaching their Returns Department at 866-314-3130, or using the information that is provided with a new Osprey pack.

What do I do if I just need a replacement pack part like a buckle?
Give Osprey a call at 866-314-3130 and they will take care of you.

How long will it take?
You can tell Osprey you need the pack returned by a certain date when you request a Return Authorization number, and they will do their absolute best to meet that deadline.

What if my pack is super dirty and stinks?
Clean it before you send it to Osprey to get repaired. The real reason is that there is a law that says if your gear is too dirty or odiferous (smelly), Osprey is not allowed to repair it and will just return it to you.

Do I have to pay for shipping?
A little bit. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the pack to Osprey, and they will pay shipping to return the pack via UPS or FedEx. Osprey cannot be held responsible if packages get lost in transit, so make sure you get a tracking number when you ship your pack out. Also, if you use expedited shipping be sure to let Osprey know (866-314-3130). They, in turn, will give your pack priority processing and return it using a similar expedited shipping method.

Do I have to register my pack to take advantage of this incredible guarantee, and/or need to be the original owner of my Osprey pack?
No! Osprey's All Mighty Guarantee is truly ALL MIGHTY. If you own an Osprey pack that needs to be repaired they will repair or replace it.

JUST A HEADS UP: If your Osprey product is not repairable and is replaced, the original product will not be returned to you. They will try really really hard to repair your pack, but if they are unable to make a functional repair, they will replace it. For products that are no longer in production you will be contacted by Osprey to discuss replacement options.

All good answers. So what is NOT covered?
• Osprey program packs or any Osprey pack used by outdoor programs are ONLY covered under Osprey's Program Pack Warranty, NOT AMG.
• Size and/or fit issues. Make sure you buy a pack that fits. Check out the size guide on Osprey product pages for more info.
• Personal preferences like colors you don't like, style of the pack, or not enough/too much room in your pack. Check the product description, features, specifications, and size guide to make sure you are ordering the right pack for you.
• Third party Repairs or replacements. Send your Osprey pack to Osprey and Osprey only to get fixed. Easy as that. And don't try fixing things yourself.
• Cosmetic wear and tear including any reasonable aging of your pack that affects only the appearance and not the function of your pack. Be proud of those scars!
• B.A.M.G. (Before All Mighty Guarantee) Repair Work. The All Mighty Guarantee applies only to repairs requested on or after January 1, 2009.
• A Osprey Hydraulics reservoir is covered by a limited 1-year warranty, which is the reasonable lifespan of a reservoir. Pouring and storing of warm/hot or boiling water in your reservoir WILL VOID your warranty, so don't do that. Reservoirs are NOT designed to contain or handle liquids at temperature.
