It's thin lightweight merino wool, but it's almost too warm to wear if the weather is over 35* (granted, I'm a warm person). It's also much longer than I expected, but I've found that's a positive thing-- I can have it up over my nose, ears, and the back of my head, and the bottom still sits around the base of my neck. And even when it's all bunched up around my neck, the bunched up material is not bothersome at all. A very worthwhile investment!

It's a great neck warmer, and if I'm outside in colder temps I can easily pull it over the back of my head to cover my ears and cheeks. I pull it up in front to use as a face covering and I have all the benefits of merino wool! This one does it all

I wear it running to pull up as a face mask or as a neck warmer for going on walks that can then be pulled up to keep my ears warm if I forget a hat. Super versatile, comfy and doesn't smell weird like the synthetic ubertube I have.
