Product Reviews
Rated 3 out of 5 by from warm and solid, but not warm enough honestly, thought these gloves would be warmer due to the aero gel. fit is great and the construction seems solid after my first climb in them, however these are rated down to -20 i believe and my hands were falling apart at 8 degrees F. Absolutely saved by the hand warmers my wife convinced me to carry (which im grateful for because my stubborn self swore these gloves would suffice before even actually trying them. my fingers got extremely cold while using ice tools as well on my climb up shasta. If you have remotely sensitive hands like me, id highly recommend a warmer glove like the alti's for anything that is a proper winter climb in the lower 48

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wouldn't recommend these gloves to anyone This product began to leak the white powder substance after 2 uses in the cold. Only used the gloves to assist on a cold day changing pin/ hole locations on a golf course. White powder I believe is dried aerogel which dries out the hands insanely quick and make the gloves almost impossible to get on. Even when the strap is completely undone the cuffs are tight. Aerogel insert only covers small portion on glove. High price point. Zero durability.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Is anyone else's gloves spewing white powder? I just use this product to aid me in travel around Alaska during training my issues however is that it recently started spewing whatever it was inside of it and it dried my hands, initially I thought it was just me sweating or got some type of salt but after washing to the care specifics when I flipped it inside out and noticed there is white powder that is leaking from the inside I like the glove will recommend it but if Timmy second pair does the same after less than 3 weeks of use I will be returning with a follow up review

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice fit and look but not as warm as advertised I bought these gloves for outdoor hikes, snowshoeing and snow shoveling. The first real test was yesterday during a snow storm I shoveled my daughter's driveway at 25 degrees with a 25 mile per hour wind making it feel 15 F. My fingers were getting cold after 15 minutes. Also, I noticed a powdery white substance was coming out of the inside like a talcum powder. It felt kind of waxy and was hard to wash it off my hands. I returned them today to my local retailer where I bought them. Disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from great glove but leaking white powder the perfect fit and protection for touring, great design and craft unfortunately both pair I've tried have started to leak white powder making them difficult to get on/off and contaminating your hands with this weird drying white substance which is difficult to get off your hands... it's too bad because it really is a nice warm dexterous glove - BooHiss!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Amazing, warm, ice climbing glove - BUT has durability issue I've put two years of heavy Iceclimbing on these gloves including leading, belaying, and using them on the approach. These gloves are fantastically light and have a great dexterity. In terms of an overall Iceclimbing glove you can't ask for much more. My only issue is that the palms are made out of a very weak material for their intended use. The palms have suffered multiple small punctures from casual brushes with my ice crew rack. On top of that I noticed a seam coming undone. I will say all this is after 50+ days of use, but I've had cheaper gloves last for longer in the palm.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Seems to run slightly small, size large just barely fit while my other OR gloves are a medium. Very warm for snowshoeing, winter hiking, and things like running the snow blower. Temps ranged from 10-30F and they were pretty nice for that range. Unfortunately about a month and a half one of the gloves started leaking a white chalky/sticky powder on my hand making the gloves unusable. Sent them back for a refund and it looks like I'll have to eat the cost of shipping back to OR but I am still waiting to see what they are going to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent so far Only used these a few days but so far I'm very impressed. They are quite warm, very waterproof and offer amazing dexterity. The aerogel stuff also handles contact with cold surfaces way better than any other insulation I've used. They're marketed as ice climbing gloves, but I think they work very well for backcountry and resort skiing, or any other winter outdoor sport for that matter. Will update if any durability concerns pop up, but they do seem pretty solid so far.
