Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great active fit, Very stretchy, Quality construction I am 6'4", 220lb and ordered the Carbide bib in a large. Overall, I am very impressed with the Carbide bib. The fit and stretch are great for backcountry ventures and do not impede my range of movement at all! I have used a fair deal of outerwear products from a variety of brands, but I am truly impressed by the quality and detailed construction of these pants, especially for the comparably low price point. I will definitely be getting more stretchy Pertex OR equipment in the foreseeable future. The only negative comment I have is that my phone gets damp with condensation in the front chest pocket. Maybe its better suited for snacks or gear other than your electronics.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Fit, Great Color and Material Absolutely loved the rust color and material was lightweight and seemed like it would be very versatile for skiing and hiking. However, the fit is very poor. I'm 6'1" and 170 lbs. I purchased the medium. The chest area is very wide. The hips are tight. The bottom opening is too wide, almost like a bell bottom. Would likely become a nuisance when hiking esp with crampons. I have to let the shoulder straps all the way out to get the length I need and I'm a 32-33" inseam. The worst problem is the elastic band that wraps around your boot is a couple inches shorter than the bottom of the pant. It struggles to stay secured around the boot and when it does it makes the pants stretch very tight when you bend your knees.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GRT BIBS! These are the lightest bibs I have ever owned, great for quick hikes off the resort and they perform great in the backcountry. I am 6'2" 180 lbs. I went with the large because the medium was too short for me. The only reason I did not give these bibs 5 stars is the torso/upper chest is super wide, like almost XL /XXL sizing but the legs and waist fit great. If OR made the torso so you could tighten, or just didn't make the torso so oversized these bibs are a full 5 stars in my book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again I use these for AT skiing and resort snowboarding. I have no large complaints, these should serve their purpose very well. A pair of notes, 1. The fabric is very thin. Thinner than most DWR fabrics. But I'm confident in my ability to patch a hole, and avoid sharp objects while skiing. So I'm not too worried. 2. There is no liner. This is a perk for me, but you should be aware and plan on having insulation underneath. I'm happy with this purchase, especially compared to other options on the market, and the price point. I'll try to come back and update this review after season 1.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lightweight shell bib I like the features of these pants. They are very light. The straps adjust very easily for length. My issue is I need the room from the XL, but the length of the L. I am 6'2 235, 36x32 pants. Ended up going with the XL because I absolutely needed the waist/hip room, plus the L was very tight around my thighs. XL fit very well, however it is slightly too long, and the leg/boots opening is very wide. I am going to hem them, because otherwise these pants are perfect. The red color is more muted in real life than it appears on screen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Bibs, fits a little tight on the thighs. These are good all arounder bibs. They aren't insulated, but are fully waterproof, so they cater to a solid activity range. I am 5'8 and about 175 lbs. The Medium is just on the cusp of being too long, and fits fairly snug. If you are an active runner or cyclist, your thighs may find these to be a bit of a squeeze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, breathable, and versatile The Carbide bibs are great. They're a thin shell, with tons of zippers and adjustability to make sure you're not overheating on the uphill, and protected when sitting still, heading downhill, or getting pounded by weather. They also have tons of smaller "smart" features, like a dedicated pocket and leash for your beacon, a super broad, easy-to-reach chest pocket for your phone and snacks, and easily accessible venting zippers. The suspenders are super low profile, but beefy enough to take some abuse. Overall, hard to argue with... The only change I would make is that the leg cuffs flare out a bit more than is necessary, leaving some bagginess around the ankles. But overall, these things are really solid. Glad I bought them.
