Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Large Just wanted to post a review doubling down on the sizing note above. I am 6' and 200lbs. I ordered a large. It was way too big. I could have layered 3 hoodies underneath. It also has an odd, boxy fit as well. Definitely a nice, oversized urban garment. I may try sizing down, because it was a really nice jacket, but it is definitely not OR's normal cut.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Comfy! This jacket is like wearing an ultralight down comforter. I was a little skeptical when I first held it because of how lightweight it is, but the second you put it on you are warm, and you stay warm. I'm 5'8, 190lbs and a large is the perfect size for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strange sizing, not much insulation I purchased this to replace a 10+ year old down jacket from back in the day when puffy jackets were actually puffy and very, very warm. Based on photos, this jacket looked like it would do the trick but unfortunately it has about the same amount of down as typical down "sweater" type garments. A little more for sure, but definitely not a ton more. Size was also strange; I consistently fit very well in small OR shirts and shells, but this thing was huge; felt like a medium at least. Length was long, arms were long, and overall cut was just too loose. I'm sure the quality and everything else is great hence the good rating. But for me the deal was broken as soon as I experienced the small amount of down and the odd sizing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple & lightweight down warmth This is an excellent basic, lightweight design that's a great down layer for warmth. Big enough to layer a pile jacket underneath and a shell over the top. Handwarmer pockets and that's it. Nylon exterior is tougher than I expected. My jacket didn't get too bafn I have one wish: that the inside collar was a softer fabric as the rip stop tends to stain slightly from perspiration - if you're doing anything active that will be bound to happen. Otherwise a fantastic jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loyal OR Customer This jacket is the perfect weight and fit. This is my second similar jacket and I plan to always purchase OR jackets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm Jacket Size down if you want a tight fit. If you will be layering stay true to size

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roomy and Warm I really like the Coldfront Down Jacket because I'm a Senior Citizen who has put on a few pounds over my years of injuries, long commutes, and too much time working in front of a computer. The Coldfront is cut roomy so that I can still layer underneath, unlike packable "down sweaters" that tend to feel like I'm wearing a finger-trap. Thanks for taking into account "real" physiques!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice jacket; fit issues I liked this jacket a lot. Nice materials, and for once an OR jacket that runs somewhat large and fit my normally XL frame (usually wear 2x in OR sizing). This fit well for the most part but was simply too tight in the shoulders for my frame, felt like it would rip out shoulder seams at some point. So had to return.
