Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket. Solid and well crafted Used daily in Quebec's Côte Nord region for temperatures between 0-15 celsius, with another warm layer underneath if needed. Very comfortable and well built. The fabric feels much thicker and tougher than my other Ferrosi garments (pants, buttoned shirt), which was a nice surprise. I only have two complaints: it runs small compared to everything else I ever bought from OR (I've always worn Medium in OR, but had to return this jacket in medium and size up for a large)... Maybe because I like being able to have a mid layer under any jacket, not just a base layer. Other complaint is minor: the interior fleece is "sticky", which tend to raise the sleeves of the underneath layer when I put it on. Certainly not a deal breaker, but may be worth mentionning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Ferrosi Awesome midlayer or outerlayer when moving in the cold. Same fit as the regular Ferrosi just with a little added thickness. Pretty much similar to a Gamma AR but touch thinner with lower bulk. I wear this over an enigma baselayer with a shell over top for -13 and colder skiing. Any warmer like -10 and above I wear a regular Ferrosi above a baselayer and below a shell. A perfect 3 season softshell for Canada, Pacific NW. 5"11 198lbs and wear an XL. Bit boxy lower down until you wash it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great around the town jacket! I live in the Seattle, WA area and this is a great jacket. Light enough for me to walk around and not sweat, but thick enough to keep me warm. It also has enough waterproofing to keep me dry in the heavy PNW rain! I do feel that this is a bit small however. I usually get large jackets (I am 6ft and have a "fit" upper torso) to be able to layer incase I had to. But a large in this feels like it is more fitted to me and won't allow for too many layers, maybe a thin one. A great upgrade to my aging wardrobe!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket, had to return it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research on similar jackets and this one had all of the features and weight I wanted. Just something for travel, a cool day, or in cold offices. Had a very nice texture. However it was too tight in my armpits. I don't have big shoulders or arms and other clothes aren't tight. Everywhere else it fit great. I didn't find this issue on any other reviews on many sites, so it is possible mine was just sewn wrong. I tried to like it, but after 20 minutes with only a thin t-shirt on underneath, it was a relief to take the jacket off. If it wasn't for the hassle of possibly returning, I would get another one and see if it fit any better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything as advertised and more! Lightweight and flexible fabric fools you into thinking you bought a windbreaker, but this is actually a very versatile jacket for all but downpour weather. Room to layer underneath but not baggy when wearing just a t-shirt. Insulated in the perfect spots, but breathable under the arms and down the sides. Longer in the body, but flexible so the right coverage with the ability to move unimpeded. This my new everyday year round jacket.
