Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultra light and packable So far it's only been early fall in NC that I've gotten to wear this new jacket but it has been wonderful either way. It's been super easy to pack as a just in case during trips into the mountains and very comfortable for when I stopped to relax. Trying to move around in this jacket proves it's definitely capable of real warmth because I can't go more than half a mile in the mid 50s before sweating. Mind you everyone's tolerance for the cold is a little different but I can still say this product is comfortable, entirely too easy to pack as a backup and super light. And I just love the red rock color, way more burnt orange in person and really stands out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm Maybe one size larger? I have been using this Hoodie for two treks into the brush for mushroom hunting. The warmth during uphill hiking was perfect especially during high winds. If the waist was about an inch more, it would be a perfect Hoodie. I have a weight lifter body with a bigger butt and sitting down while zipped up in this Jacket is a bit tight. Maybe one size larger if you're not a string-bean distance runner. I'm also missing the front zip breast pocket for a secure ID pocket. The design and style is on-point. Folding it up into the pocket for travel is easy and takes up little space in my pack when traveling.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Room for improvement I was really excited about this item and have multiple OR jackets that I'm very impressed with, unfortunately this one missed the mark for me. All of my OR jackets are size large and fit perfectly, however, this jacket was much too big especially around the stomach area where I had could pull 18 inches of extra fabric away from my stomach area. Aside from the fit issues, it is much thinner than I had hoped for. This isn't a high loft puffy replacement. The hood design is also a bummer. It does have a small adjustable strap on the back, but it doesn't seal around the face and has large gaps with no way to cinch it down. I have a couple jackets from Salewa and Patagonia that have excellent hood designs which seal snugly around the face and neck keeping you much warmer in colder temps. Fix the hood and sizing and this could be an awesome piece. I did really like the fabric and it felt warm, but unfortunately I had to return it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight and great fit, not as warm as down feathers I haven't taken this item on a backpacking trip yet, but it seems to perform well. It's definitely not as warm as traditional down, but it is light, fits well and is compact and packable. I did get caught in a downpour on a walk and noticed that water beads up nicely on the shell and the jacket retained loft and remained toasty despite the rain. If this is your only puffy, you might have to wear an extra layer under it, but it holds up well in damp conditions and looks like it will be very easy to wash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket High quality synthetic puff. Warm, conpressable and much more breathable than down. DWR coating is very good as well as the fit and finish of the jacket. Only downside is the hood synch is not great. I'm 5'9 190lbs and the large is a perfect fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will Be My Travel and Casual Go To Jacket I have not tested this Jacket in cooler weather yet but love the feel and fit. I am 5ft 8", 167lbs and the Large size fits me well with plenty of room for a light fleece underneath without being tight, and I like its not as form fitting as my Patagonia Nano Puff. The only negatives are the arms are a little boxy and I wish the hood had a draw cord. The Insulation in my opinion even seems a little loftier than my Nano Puff, but they are somewhat similar and not as lofty as most down jackets. If I own a Nano Puff why would I buy this, because I wanted a lightweight synthetic insulated jacket with a hood for cooler, damp and windy mountain hiking, backpacking and Autumn / Spring mornings camping when my down jacket is just too warm and I don't want to wear a rain shell or heavier soft shell just to cut the wind. I probably would not pay full retail but at the reduced price this is a very versatile and good looking insulator for both outdoor use and casual / travel wear. I think the Blue Cascade color is maybe more ocean / greenish blue but looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect lightweight jacket. I love how warm my Helium Hoodie is for spring or fall and layer up and it will be fine for dryer winter as well. So easy to stuff in a small pack for a hike and bring out when the temps drop. I also love the bright blue color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit My only downside is no zipper pocket for the cell phone, and the inside pockets are nearly unusable... just a couple small fixes would make it a remarkable jacket.
