Rated 3 out of 5 by from I am swimming in pants Stated measurements: Standard fit (neither trim nor loose) Waist: 32.5" Hips: 39" Actual: 90s hip-hop baggy Waist: 42" Hips: 41" I measured my hips and waist to be sure (31" and 32") and had my girlfriend measure everything separately with the same results. I like a loose free ride fit. I had a pair of the old Skyward Bibs (Medium) and they fit well, maybe a little loose around the hips but good in the waist. My new Hemispheres Bibs (Medium) are so big I think they accidentally sent me an XL labeled as MM. Might recommend, but definitely size WAYYY down. In no place are they fitting or resting on my body. If not for suspenders they would not be on me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Bibs! Awesome bibs for so many reasons. The stretch is great, super lightweight, and the beacon pocket is perfectly unobtrusive with a good tether. My only complaint is the fit. I'm 6'2" with long legs and I had to buy the XL in order to get the legs long enough. Downside is that the bibs fit huge around the waist like fishing waders instead of athletic fit riding pants... Dear OR, you would crush it if you offered long/tall sizes like that other dead bird brand up North. Can't tell you how many tall friends I hear complain about not being able to find good technical gore tex touring pants/bibs that are actually long enough. Large waist with 34-36 inseam... yes please! Overall awesome product, would recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from OR does not stand by their products I bought the hemisphere bibs which were the most expensive pair of ski pants OR offers. You would think with that high end price tag you would get high end quality. My product arrived and upon first glance it looked fine. Fast forward ten months later i was planning a ski trip so i took out my gear to get it ready. This is when i noticed a tear in the pants of the hemisphere bibs. I contacted the warranty department to rectify the issue and they were unwilling to help. Its worth noting that i never used them once so they must have came to me like that. Now im stuck with the worlds most expensive unusable pair of pants, thanks for nothing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Durability problems I used these pants for 2 days at a resort and 1 day backcountry snowboarding. There is a hole in the beacon pocket just from having a beacon in there. There's also a hole in the other pocket where i had my cell phone. The bottom leg cuffs are already looking shredded. I was expecting these to last a few years but they likely wont even make it through 1 season. OR seemed to have sacrificed durability for weight reduction but on an expensive pair of snowpants I was expecting them to stand up to more wear. If they changed the outer fabric to something more durable with some ripstop these would be fine pants. I would be willing to have a heavier fabric for more durability.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good design, Terrible durability Pants fit great. I was really excited about them. The first three days I skied in them, I was stoked about them. Near the end of the third day I tore a huge whole in them. No contact with anything, just felt cold air flowing through my pant and look down to see a gaping hole. I emailed OR and they told me to buy tape and tape them. They were basically brand new and Im kind of shocked they were not willing to help in anyway other then suggest taping the thin goretex shell. I will stick to brands who stand behind their products. Its unfortunate because the pants were on their way to being my new favorite ski pants. Back to Arcteryx

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These bibs are killer! My wife bought me these bibs for xmas this year and I use them primarily for snowboarding. I have worn them with warm layers underneath in sub zero windy days, as well as just a pair of shorts on warmer days and they have excelled in all conditions. Totally wind proof, no wet bottom when the chair is covered in melty snow, and the material is super durable even after encountering brushes with trees and rock face. The only thing I would change would be the elastic suspenders, but that really isn't a big deal because they are comfortable and do the job well, I just like the feel of solid suspenders. Buy these, they won't let you down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommend I could not possibly say enough good things about these bibs. I bought them in the fall but wanted to wait till I'd really had a chance to test them before writing this review. They have stood up to every possible test. I've worn them while sailing through winter gales in Alaska, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and snowboarding. They've always kept me dry and they are so nice and light and breathable yet rugged and resilient against wear and tear. Southeast Alaska can be very hard on gear and these have passed every test with flying colors, from trudging through deep snow on powder days, to heavy rain, to sleet/hail/ice this is the outer layer you want!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nearly perfect, happy to have a pair this year. These bibs are great and very close to perfect. I tried to buy a pair last year but was shippedthe wrong size. While I was sending them back they sold out for season so I had to wait until this year to get them. I'm happy I didn't give up on them. They seem to be the perfect weight of fabric for what they are and they breathe and move really well. The only couple of changes I would ask for is that the zipper go all the way to the top on both sides and that the suspenders anchor to the front flap from behind so that the back could be a true drop trail. I also like the pocket arrangement on the women's a little better than the men's version with the kangaroo pocket in the bib.
