Product Reviews
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Fabric but Waste Band is too tight This fabric is amazingly comfortable and light, and suits the name Next to None. I love it. However, the elastic waist band is apparently designed for at least a full size smaller garment. After the first wearing, I chose to alter the length of the band so it wasn't so tight around my waste. Luckily there was enough fabric to make the modification because now they fit amazingly and feel great. I recently ordered another pair to see if I didn't get a mislabeled item. The new pair was constructed exactly the same. Normally I fit right in the middle of OR's size range for all mens bottoms and there is no reason for the band on these shorts to be so tight. If OR would build them to fit within their own size range I would definitely buy more. These shorts could be amazing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waistband way too tight! Like others have said, ordered in accordance with the size chart and with what I wear for other brands of underwear but the waist band is stupid tight. Something is wrong with these it must be a manufacturing error. Gotta try to return or exchange them now but not sure how that's gonna go.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Amazing fabric and sizing except for the waist band I have been constantly searching for the best pair of underwear for me to wear while on my outdoor adventures. I have tried the cheap stuff that you get a sporting goods store and have even tried the echo boxers from OR, the next to none are so close to being perfect. The fabric itself is very nice and breathable. I've used them so far for short mtn bike rides when my bike shorts are in the wash. They breathe great and wick away moisture. Compared to the echo boxers these have a much more comfortable fabric and breathe better. The fit of the legs and crotch is perfect with it being a little loose on me. It hugs all the areas gently and you don't feel like your wearing them, until you get to the waist band. I wear medium in all underwear with a waist between 31-32. The echo boxer brief waist line was great it held on with out feeling constricting. The waist band on these are insanely tight. Idk if it was a manufacture error but the waist band feels like a size small. After wearing them for the day you can see the waist band imprinted on my waist. I have worn compression shorts and sliding shorts in baseball and this waist band is much more tighter. I don't think sizing up is the answer because then everywhere else would be too loose. Maybe they will stretch out with time but now they are uncomfortable to wear. Fabric is great and sizing everywhere else is fantastic but they need to adjust waistband sizing

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The waist band is way to tight for the size The quality of the underwear is great, but the waist band seems a size too tight. I have a 29 waist and wear small underwear in every other brand, but the waist is phenomenally tight. It is about 3" smaller than all of my other underwear, and stretching it makes it become taught.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Snug in the waist, but otherwise function well. As mentioned by others, these come a little snugger in the waist than is probably necessary. I gave them a little manual pre-stretch and have a fairly slim waist so I like them, but just a heads up on that point again. Nice and breathable. Their counterpart, Echo briefs, are my go-to for the most part.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great material Awesome except the waist is a bit tight and unforgiving compared to other medium briefs, including other models from outdoor research. Hopefully they will loosen up a bit. 31 is usually a little loose on my with pant sizes so I was surprised how tight these were

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too small These are well made briefs, but the listed size is way off. I bought a medium and they fit like a small. I would return them for a larger size, but the hassle of returning them isn't worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Notch These are by far the nicest underwear I've bought. A lot of other comments complained about the waist size but as an outdoor brand designing for active people, I think these are a great choice
