The Outdoor Research Men's Snowcrew Jacket is a snowsports jacket for resort-focused days on the snow. Skis, board, even tubing days with the kids. Whatever gets you on the slopes, the partially recycled 2L shell fabric provides waterproof, breathable performance through the winter weather. It's stretchy too, so you're unrestricted whether you're headed to the park or need to snag a high-speed high-five from your bud. The insulation is partially recycled as well, adding heat for those frigid days.

Product Reviews
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I sure do hate OR zippers When I put the jacket on it felt great, very roomy, love the build quality and instant warmth. Then I tried to zip it up, and tried, and tried, and took it off and tried some more. I had this same terrible zipper on my Furio jacket last year and it took me a few months to break that zipper in until it finally functioned reliably. I am hoping that this one will also eventually work after I spend time seating and unseating it. Very frustrating to have to do it all over again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective zippers on all Snowcrew jackets 6'2" 180 - a medium fit great. Good length in arms and form fitting enough so it didn't seem baggy. I really liked the material and pretty much everything about this jacket. However, the pocket zippers on the first coat broke within the first few days, so they sent me another and the pocket zippers were broken when it came. It's like when they manufactured the jacket, they didn't put any sort of stop at the base of the zipper so it just zips right out of the track. Literally all the Snowcrew jackets have this defect. For it to have such a glaring issue and Outdoor Research still selling this jacket like it isn't defective is enough for me to never buy another Outdoor Research product again. Even with a lifetime guarantee, I do not recommend purchasing products from Outdoor Research even with their lifetime guarantee because who wants to continually send a product back because it's defective.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great shell, relaxed fit, but faulty draw strings Wore this skiing and snowshoeing Mt. Baker in cold weather, heavy winds, and deep snow. Even against PNW rain, drizzle, and mist this jacket kept me dry. On the mountain in strong winds and heavy snow i was warm and windproof. Basic features are enough relaxed fit, large fleece lined pockets, hood draw string in back. DRAW STRINGS ON THE SIDE OF HOOD DO NOT WORK. they pull down and there is piece inside the hood with a button so i assume the draw strings are supposed to say tight until you press the internal button but the strings just slide freely back and forth (this could be a manufacturing defect i doubt user error as ive tried every which way). otherwise the jacket works as expected

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight but extremely warm. I just took the dog on a long walk in -5 windshield air. I felt no wind or cold where I could get coverage from the coat. Earlier in the week it was a bit warmer and I wore the coat to shovel. I broke a sweat wearing the coat. I am very happy with the purchase. The only small complaints would be that the zipper is difficult at times, I probably should have gotten a large (5'10", 210) as I may be a little to short for it, and the hood is designed to fit over a helmet so it's a little awkward with just a stocking cap. I imagine it would be fantastic for winter sports that require a helmet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket, snowcrew. Awesome jacket. Runs a bit big. I typically wear a large but a medium fits perfect. The quality is what we all expect, awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again. This product came on time and the fit was a little large, however if you need to layer items under it then you have the room. The rear flap is great for keeping snow off your backside when you fall, and the inside pocket for the ski goggle worked out great. I took this jacket skiing in temperatures from 20 degrees to about 30 degrees and all I need was a polyester t-shirt underneath. I even wore this while snowmobiling and it keep me warm and dry. The only negative was the main zipper is a little finicky at first, once I had used it a few times that seemed to correct itself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beware of the zipper Zipper is very difficult to use. Fits very large, but is advertised as such. I wear this as my daily driver for resort skiing in alaska. Great full coverage ski jacket. hope the sipper gets attention
