Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket, but it is more of a "trim fit". Buy a size up I've been wearing this jacket a lot lately. The temps have been in the 30s and 40s with varying levels of wind and this jacket has been great with a few light layers underneath. One problem with the jacket is that it is undersized. I typically wear XL everything, and this jacket in XL doesn't allow for anything other than some light base layers underneath. I am a very muscular 6'1'', 220lbs with broad shoulders, and the jacket is very tight on my upper back and upper arms. Fortunately the material stretches so it hasn't been a huge issue. I do wish I would have gotten the XXL for freedom of movement, but the XL is great for casual wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good overall utility jacket. Highly rated jacket, so I purchased. Have worn on some pretty cold nights and been impressed with its warmth. Have not tested its ability to shed water yet, but that day will come. I wear this as more a casual jacket and was surprised when the inside seam stitching separated when I was putting it on. Stitched up and back in action. The fabrics used on the interior seem to work against the fabrics on the exterior in regards to movement. Depending on type of layer the interior fabric drags over clothing causing slight bunching. A little more stretch in shoulder area may have prevented tear, but overall a great jacket

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality. Would not recommend . Jacket stitching on the inside liner fell apart within a month after light use. Jacket has square shoulders that prevent shoulder mobility. The insulation is hardly insulation, and it is only useful when active. Jacket has to be worn with multiple (2 or 3) layers to provide any quality warmth. I am in Northwest Washington , and this jacket had trouble kept me warm in 40 degree weather. Warranty replacement took a month, and the replacement jacket fell apart within a week. After I had to pay to ship the first faulty jacket back, I requested a return on the second and we were told that I had to pay for shipping on the first one because the jacket "didn't meet my needs." I guess ORs "Infinity Guaranty" doesn't cover poor product design / manufacturing. I wore the jacket to and from work (office job), and would not trust it for recreational or professional use. I have worn OR gear for 14 years and this is probably my 6-8 OR jacket . I was completely unimpressed with the quality and service, and would not recommend this jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost - but not quite - awesome Used primarily around town, walking dogs, etc. Very warm and breathable. It would work well under a shell and be toasty. Nice styling with snug fit for an XXL. I have a 40 waist and it's snug but OK. I have 37" sleeves and those are just fine. A couple things holding back from five stars. Interior of sleeves are the same fabric as rest of jacket, which adds to breathability, but it makes things awkward when layering over a flannel shirt or wool base layer ... friction means I end up tugging at sleeves to get them on. It would be nicer if the inside of sleeves were a more slippery fabric. Second issue is the relatively small gauge zippers. YKK quality is good, but the chest pocket zippers don't slide as easily as a larger gauge zipper. Same deal on the lower hand pockets, though not as pronounced. It's a nice piece, and with a couple of small adjustments it would be great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Jacket!!! This jacket is amazing. Fits amazing, not too tight and not too loose. It keeps you warm. I'm currently in Colorado Springs, 5'6 but wife claims I'm 5'5, 160 lbs. The only con that I feel isn't really an issue is that the hand cuffs are not snugger. The are loose enough to slip gloves underneath and I wear a iWatch 4 and it's perfect. I wish they were just a little snugger but it isn't a complaint. I love this jacket and it's my favorite one. I would highly recommend this jacket for fit, warmth and overall satisfaction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cozy jacket Very cozy jacket, great water repellent coating. Some things to note before purchase: interior is lined with a fleeced fabric. I wish the arms had a smoother fabric that went on over long sleeves easier, but on the flip side it is very cozy with just a t-shirt. No inside pockets, but the two chest pockets are great. Medium fits me great as a 5'9" 135lb male.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job I hired it for and makes me look a little weird Love the functionality of this jacket. Lots of pockets, excellent warmth to bulk ratio, decent fashion. Fit is a little strange; 95% of my OR gear is size large, but this jacket seems big in the arm diameter and bottom half of the torso. It's not a big enough deal to send back, but it hurts the look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely would buy again Incredibly warm for how thin and light weight! I've been wearing it in 20 degree temps with no problem, and the color of the jacket was a bonus. I wish they would make more earth colors like this available
