Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this jacket again I use my men's ferrosi jacket so much that my wife asked for one, she absolutely loves hers. This jacket is perfect for winter morning desert hikes as an outer layer, but is breathable as we warm up. Works great in wind as long as the temps aren't too low, haven't used it much below 40• My wife is 5"5 135 and the medium fits great with a light base layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Favorite! Detailed sizing info if you need it :) Love love love this jacket! I researched the top softshells and although the Ferrosi was listed I went with the higher rated Rab Borealis softshell. I'm sure its an amazing jacket for many, but I don't think Rab was built for my body type. I ordered a size 14 (L) and it dug up in my armpits and the sleeves were too long (which is usually fine, i just roll them) but these sleeves weren't great for rolling. It was also too snug overall and when I put a puffy or any thicker layer under it I actually got colder because there was no movement for air/heat around my core. At first I thought I was overreacting but the minute I got the Ferrosi and put it on I knew I was not wrong about the Rab fit. The Ferrosi is incredibly lightweight and the Large gives me enough room to put layers under it, but is not too baggy looking. I also stay warm when I layer with the Ferrosi. The sleeves are a bit long but I just roll them and it hasn't bothered me at all. I really contemplated on size when ordering this jacket. I'm right in between a Medium and Large right now so deciding on sizes has been tricky. I have broad shoulders and larger arms. For a size reference I'm 5'7" and my chest measurement at the moment is 39", waist 33", hips 39", I wear size medium in Mountain Hardwear shirts but wear large in Arcteryx shirts and jackets. I'm really happy with the size I chose for the Ferrosi. I think a medium would have been fine but I like the looseness of the Large (again, it's not baggy, just has a bit more movement). Love the color, the stretchy fabric! It's definitely one of my favorites now. I've attached photos and I hope they help anyone who is contemplating between two sizes. I know I could have used some more details when deciding. 1st photo: reference of my build (wearing a size M Mountain Hardwear crater lank tank top and size 8 prana moto pant) 2nd/3rd photo: Ferrosi by itself over the tank top 4th/5th/6th photos: have my puffy on underneath the Ferrosi. Hope this is helpful

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ill fitting. Too long sleeves. This jacket was very ill fitting. I do have a few OR brand jackets and the Small typically fits perfectly. The sleeves are too long. While they have thumbholes, the wrist cuffs have no elastic or velcro strap, so the sleeve just hangs below my hands when my arms are down. The jacket fit was too big overall, and it was also a little darker gray than what I thought was pictured. Jacket is very lightweight. I returned, so cannot comment on the performance properties. Note I did get over the disappointment when I ended up purchasing a wonderful OR Ascendant Hoodie, which fits perfectly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice jacket! This is a great little outer layer for cool mornings and evenings. The color looked white on my screens, but it's more of a pale gray. It's exactly what I expected and the pockets are great. It does run a little large, so I'd recommend sizing down if you like things more fitted. I'm 5'4", 120 lbs, and the XS leaves plenty of room for layers underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again I bought the alloy color and it matches with all pants color. I am 5' 9" and weigh about 165 lbs. Size M did fit me in this style. I wear it in Santa Cruz near the beach and in San Francisco where the weather is cool in the summer. It is light enough, however, it does the job in keeping me warm when the temperature is in the 60s in the summer. My daughter who is in her late twenties liked it on me so she ordered one in size S. I will get a lot of use out of this jacket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inconsistent sizing I like the product but the sizing is so inconsistent I had to return it. I normally fit a M well but the jacket I got in the mail was so large I felt like I was swimming in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable lightweight jacket This doesn't provide much warmth, just a durable outer shell so I don't think I would take this on backpacking trips in the PNW, but I do take it climbing with buddies. Weather you have to bushwhack a bit to the crag or on belay its great against the elements. Also great for a quick run to the store or hiking. Not super waterproof, as it says its water resistant, so if rain is in the forecast opt for another jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for layering or on it's own! Great layer for chilly days on the trail or neighborhood walks. Love the quality, great fabric, comfortable.
