JACKET ROCKSThis jacket is fantastic. She breaths, she moves, she's light, yet warm, she's durable- she rocks. I wore This jacket pretty much every single day of last year. It's a really light Goretex, which makes it ultra comfortable. They OR uses ultra-stretchy Gore in the shoulders and under the armpits so it really does stretch in all the right places. I was really pumped on this jacket all season. It's versatile: it's the kind of jacket that is a "one-jacket quiver" type deal. You just layer underneath according to the day. I toured in it, skied the resort in it, snow machined in it, and wore it around town. It works perfectly with the bibs obviously- so I'd for sure check those out with it. Great ski jacket. Nice work OR!

Functions beautifully, fit is very goodI love this jacket. The stretch panels help me feel like my movement is never impaired, I get plenty of breathability from the size zipper vents, and the stash pockets on the inside are excellent for goggles, sunglasses, or skins. Although I am 5'2", I went with the medium, because I am very curvy at the butt, hips, and thighs. This jackets hits me at mid-butt, so it needed to be big enough to go over my butt and the small would have been too tight. The medium goes over my hips and butt perfectly and has room for layers, but isn't too baggy. However, the arms are comically long on me. I know this is partly because I had to size up and I'm only 5'2", but I have other medium-sized jackets where the arms are not this long. The lower part of the arms are also very wide, which is nice if you use undercuff gloves, but even then it seems excessive. The velcro adjustment makes it so I can make this work, but it can be a struggle with large, cold-weather, overcuff mittens. So, in summary, the jacket functions beautifully, but there are a few fit things that could be tweaked. OR in general really needs to make more gear for short, curvy athletes.

Fabulous jacketI am in love with this jacket. I'm petite so struggle to find something that fits appropriately. This is in the perfect Goldilocks Zone, not too tight that I can't layer and move, and not looking like a circus tent draped over my torso either. I love all the zippers and pockets, yet it's clean and simple design makes it packable and perfect for the backcountry. I recently wore this on a wet and windy day in the mountains and it kept me dry all day. What a satisfying feeling to watch water bead right off and never soak in!

Highly Recommended!I used this jacket as a hard shell on Mount Kilimanjaro. The conditions were extremely wet for 8 days but this jacket stood up to the test. Despite the periods of rain everyday, it dried much quicker than other people's outer shells. It was also windproof. The zippers are durable, the pockets are handy and the vents are great when you need to cool off. I was very pleased with the performance of this jacket!

Great backcountry ski jacketI love my new Hemisphere Jacket! I use it for backcountry skiing and occasionally on the ski hill (only because I go occasionally). I like the long fit, so it doesn't ride up on me, and that I can fit extra layers underneath. It is light weight, has a nice stretch to it, and the hood fits over my helmet. For size reference, I previously had a medium in the Revelation jacket also. I do like that the pit zips do extend all the way to the hem of the jacket for extra ventilation, but wish the zipper would extend higher under my armpit. I ski tour with a backpack and find the zipper toggle is a bit harder to access because my backpack strap is in the way. Otherwise an awesome jacket so far for repelling the elements whilst backcountry skiing.

Absolutely! The size S is a great fit for me, 6"6, 135 lb. Love the weight, gentle female cut, sturdy zippers, side zips plus it has plenty of pockets. I can fit a few layers under it and still have room in the sleeves (often where I find jackets can get snug with layers). Great design, fun colors. My new go-to mountaineering, skiing and hiking jacket for my playground in the Pacific Northwest. Bravo OR!

Awesome jacket! This jacket is awesome! It is super lightweight and breathable for a waterproof shell jacket, and the stretch Gore-Tex makes it super comfortable and easy to move around in. I had to size up in this jacket to fit layers underneath. I got a size M in this, and I have a S in the OR Ascendant Hoody and a few other fleece jackets. I have wide hips and the small would have been too tight around my hips (I wear a size 6 or 8 in pants, and size 4 top). The sleeves were pretty long in the medium (I am only 5'4", so this would be a plus for taller ladies!), so I had them hemmed at a local outdoor gear repair shop and now the jacket is perfect! The fit is roomy so I can easily fit a puffy jacket and lots of layers underneath. The venting options are great, and I also really like the oversized hood. There are also a lot of good pockets, both inside and outside. I got this primarily as a ski jacket, but it would also work if you need a heavy duty raincoat. It's light enough that I would bring this on a backpacking trip if we were expecting a lot of rain. Excited to get it out on the hill!

A Winter Warrior!Received the Hemisphere jacket early this winter season, and wore it every day while out snowshoeing our favorite Michigan trails, exploring the frozen tundra of Lake Michigan and pretty much every day life. This jacket was a true Michigan Winter Warrior, weathering the mixed bag of Michigan Winter weather, through rain, sleet and snow ...bitter cold and nasty strong winds. It is a great rain and wind proof shell type jacket, with awesome stretch for movability. I wore this jacket every single time we adventured out in the extreme temps of this winter, having worn several layers underneath for extra warmth, and layering as the bitter cold made it necessary with this lightweight jacket,. It also allowed for better control of core temps as movement created more heat ..allowing me to cool down as needed using the side zippered vents. I believe I will continue to wear this jacket well into the spring, and likely again in the Fall. Its a great all around jacket and I really love the colors (carob/zin) as it looked very sharp, receiving many compliments! Technical yet looks great! :
