Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best gloves ever We hike about 10 miles or so at a time, in any kind of northeast Ohio weather. Although these gloves aren't rated that low, I've used them with my trekking poles in weather down to 10 degrees F. We were hiking in temperatures a bit below that and I could easily add my fingered mittens over them, although, once I warmed up, I really didn't need the mittens! These are nice enough looking that you can easily wear them with a dress coat... and I do. One neat thing about them is the very convenient loop inside the top of each glove. I use that to connect them to the clasp inside my backpack.... I can always find them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around gloves I bought these for cold weather hiking (20 to 40 degrees F) and they work great for that. Just enough insulation to keep my hands warm while I'm moving on the trail, probably not enough for around camp in cold conditions when I'm less active. The gloves are soft, and didnt irritate my nose too badly after repeated dabbing to catch the cold weather drips (c'mon, it happens to all of us!) The fingertips allow for reasonable smart phone use...I wouldn't try to compose an epic poem, but it allows me to use the phone and send short texts. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would buy them again and recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful!!!! I LOVE these gloves!!! They are thin, sleek, and great for devices. The loops make hanging then on a thumb, if needed, so great. I love that OR gloves have loops. With flu season coming, it is kinda great to keep these on for stores, self-checkout, etc. I simply hand-wash in tea tree soap or spray with eco-disinfectant for next day’s use. I got these as extras, and to fill out an order. I am ordering some for my mom now too, and an extra pair for me. Size is accurate. Plum color is beautiful! Not sure why people complain - they don’t promise warmth, so why criticize? They are PERFECT for what they are! Light, silky gloves that make your day so much easier!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice material, short fingers! I use these gloves in the spring and fall for hiking. Nice material, very soft! Fingers are quite short on the gloves though for some reason?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for hiking/running, driving on cold days! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and used them on a climbing/camping trip in the creek. They're really soft and stretchy, a bit too thin for me when I chill at camp at night (low in 30-40s), but they work really well while being active (hiking, running). I will try using them as a liner under thicker waterproof gloves for this winter on skis. I was able to do basic swiping and clicking on my iphone with the gloves on but typing longer messages can still be a bit tricky. A really nice pair of gloves overall!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight gloves Great gloves, I have since repurchased a second pair after ordering my first because I get so much use out of them. They are cozy, and in the harsh Canadian winter I am comfortable wearing them to about -10 before I would opt for a bulkier glove. They are especially great for driving because they are snug fit and have the handy grips. I do not love the touch-pads on the fingertips, they are a bit clumsy, but they do work. I suppose they could be worn under a bulkier warmer mitten, but the grips may make them feel a bit odd inside another layer. I usually have trouble finding fingered gloves that fit properly, as I have slender hands but with a large palm and long fingers. Typically I opt for men's gloves for a better fit, but I found these gloves in a Medium to fit perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from yes I ordered this product because I needed a light pair of gloves for when I train outside and the weather is colder. They are great for what I need them to do: keep my hands warm, but not sweaty and don't feel heavy. The only thing is that I would not recommend wearing them for temperatures that approach 0 degrees (celsius) if you will not be training/moving a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impossibly soft! I bought these to serve as some extra warmth on milder winter days. I work as an outdoor educator, and being able to grip papers and equipment that sometimes has touch screens, functionality was important. But what's most amazing about these gloves is how SOFT they are. They're like doeskin, but of course in a breathable, synthetic performance fabric.
