Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like it states 5'4" 125lbs and purchased a medium. I am curvy and this actually fit nicely through the hips. Got caught in a downpour while walking the dog and I was dry. Wore it in 40 degree weather with a fleece under and was comfortable. Wore it when it was 75 and pouring and was comfortable with a t-shirt. Stayed dry and seems breathable. I haven't been hiking in it yet but there is no clammy feel. The interior is soft and glides over clothing well. I was worried about no pit zips but after reading other reviews people seemed happy without them. The paprika is a bright dark orange. I like this because I am visible to cars and hunters. I would definitely recommend this jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not the right fit for a winter shell After reading reviews, purchased this jacket as a waterproof shell for active winter pursuits in the Pacific Northwest (snowboarding, snowshoeing, xc skiing, etc.) as I prefer layering to insulated jackets. Unfortunately, I'll be returning it. I am 5'6 and 145 lbs and have never purchased larger than a Medium jacket, even for layering. Unfortunately, this jacket is noisy, very thin, and barely zippers over my very thin Patagonia micro puff synthetic jacket, my main mid layer. It is quite tight in the hips, way too short, and rides up with snow pants on. I will be returning it and purchasing a Patagonia hard shell jacket despite the more expensive price tag. This jacket seemed like a steal due to the sale price, but unfortunately too good to be true. Not the product I was looking for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wetted out immediately Lightweight, super packable. However, even upon the first few wears, the jacket wetted out nearly immediately. Living in Seattle, it's no fun to walk/run/ski/hike with a soggy jacket, much less try to pack into a bag as part of your layering system. After wetting out, the jacket is still a wind barrier, but bummed about lack of waterproofing. Also wish there were pit zips to quickly dump heat - without these, I tend to shuffle the jacket on/off more, resulting in packing extra water in my gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for those that run warm! This jacket was exactly what I was looking for, a light-weight, breathable, waterproof outer layer! I am an avid Hiker/splitboarder and I run WARM on the uphill! But since I live in AK, I face a lot of rain so a waterproof outer-layer is essential. This Jacket manages to do the impossible, keep me dry AND not overheated (I do wear just a wicking layer under it at 35F) but I can't get over how it breathes! Also it's held up through a couple solid bushwacks already. As for size, it's a little more fitted than I expected so I sized up and I am glad I did. I am 5'3" and 145lbs with a very athletic build. I got a medium and it fits multiple layers underneath if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect climbing layer I've worn this jacket climbing for 3 weeks straight and it has held up fairly well. The fit is great, the material has the perfect amount of stretch, and it is breathable through tough pitches. It completely blocks wind and was a perfect layer on top of a thin fleece in 50 degree weather while climbing. Unfortunately I did get a small tear in the jacket only on the 5th wear, but I was being really hard on it and was honestly surprised it didn't rip more... so I'd give it a full 5 stars and I plan on wearing this jacket backcountry skiing too. I got a size medium in paprika, I am 5'3 125 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits big! Love this jacket! Soft inner material feels great against skin - even if you're just wearing a tablet underneath. None of that plasticky rain jacket feel. Super waterproof. Fits big! I ordered a medium based on the size guide and it is quite large. I'll be giving it away and re-ordering a small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes I love this raincoat. It's a very thin jacket that functions like a heavier coat. I bought it one size up in order to layer underneath but have been impressed with it's wind stopping ability in cold and rainy days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Packable but powerful I've used this jacket for backcountry skiing and love it! It will be a staple in my pack for climbing and backpacking this summer too. The Gor-tex Active makes it perfect to throw on if the wind picks up or the precip starts to fall, but you need to keep moving. It's packable and lightweight, meaning it's easy to throw in "just-in-case.". The adjustable cuffs are low profile. And double thumbs up for the color-- (Baltic)
