DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit seems off Bought this to keep in my daypack for spring hiking. My boyfriend and I are tall with long arms and wear a men's L, but this fit both of us so weird. The torso is cut too wide so it sort of bunched under the armpits, was tight around the shoulders, and the sleeves were comically short and a little too snug. I compared it to my BFs previous nano puff and it's dimensions were way different--maybe we got a dud? The fabric is great as expected, the yellow color is wonderful for safety, but it still needed to be returned. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest all around piece of active clothing Bought in 2015 for myself, 2016 for my (then) 11 year old, and again this year (now 13). Love the nano because I chuck it in the wash. Pair with Gore-tex shell and ski all day. Throw a UA heat gear in my pack (as long underwear) and I can ski anything between 0 and 30 degrees in rain/wind or not. Ridiculously versitle. Also have the down version for hanging out (not skiing). Its always in my car, and when it smells like my cigar, it comes out clean from the washing machine. 6'00 230lbs and wear XL [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect on the go jacket Bought this a month ago for my husband. He loves how lightweight it is but keeps him warm. It's his "running errands" go to and I'm sure he'll wear it when we go hiking in the spring! Only downside... no pockets! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favorites I’m a jacket junkie and take an inordinate amount of pleasure having the right jacket for the conditions. Gear that performs well allows me to enjoy the experience of being outside without distraction. I’m currently on my second nano puff, having worn out my first. I bought this one as a gift. I wear this all the way through Minnesota winters. You wouldn’t want to wear it alone if you’re just standing around in zero degrees, but layer it with a shell and you’re golden. I like that it weighs hardly anything, packs very small, doesn’t restrict movement and by some kind of magic seems to keep me at just the right temperature in a broad range of conditions. If I’m going running or cross country skiing, I’ll grab something that vents better for that kind of output. Otherwise, this is my go-to. Everyone should own one. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket I got this jacket after moving to northern Indiana for college. I really hate full length zippers, so I got the pullover despite it not having hand warmer pockets. I really miss the hand pockets. I haven't been up in 0 degree weather with it yet, but I have been below freezing with it, and it is pretty warm. I'm chronically cold, but with gloves and a hat, I has plenty warm for a short period. For a longer period, I had a fleece overtop, and was very comfortable. The zipper, however, doesn't do a ton to ventilate. When I unzip, I have to fold back the sides or else it just stays shut and nothing changes. I have pretty narrow shoulders though, so someone with broader shoulders might pull it apart better. I haven't owned a down or synthetic jacket before, so I can't compare it to anything, but I can say that I am really happy with it other than the pockets. It slips over other layers very easily, it doesn't grab. It's very light weight, and not bulky. And it not only is warm, but it regulates temperature very well. I am wearing it right now, sitting in my comfortably heated house, and am comfortably warm. The other thing that I should mention is the fit. I am really happy with the fit. I am about 6 feet tall, all arms and legs, and I ordered a medium. It fits very well. The torso is plenty roomy to fit layers underneath, but I don't feel like I'm drowning, and the sleeves are on the long end, but not too long. Usually, my sleeves are too short, but these are just right. All in all, a very good jacket if you don't use hand pockets too much. If you do like hand pockets, I recommend the full zip. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. I love this jacket. I wear it all the time - it's great for cool mornings backpacking. It packs down nicely and warms me up well. I wear it to work all the time too. It is warm enough to wear in the winter, if I'm only walking to and from the car. Fall and spring it's warm enough to wear outside longer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to get on and off. I love Patagonia for durability, style, and company philosophy. This jacket is no exception. It is both lightweight and warm. The only issue is that it is difficult to get on and off. Slipping a sweatshirt on overhead is easy, but this fabric doesn't have the stretch you need to make that happen. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect seasonal wear. The pullover is a great versatile jacket for fall and spring because of its warmth and breath ability. In addition, it’s a perfect layer in the winter. A feature that I actually really like is that it’s more like a half zip than a quarter zip providing much more airflow when warmer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
