Rated 4 out of 5 by from So comfy! Bought the Better Sweater a few weeks ago and have been trying to wear it as much as I can, so perfect for chilly fall mornings and nights. Haven't gotten the chance to wear it in the winter, but I'm sure I will often. It's beyond warm and cozy, insulates well. The only issue is that it runs kind of small. I always wear medium in everything- not too tight not too baggy. But I got a medium is the Patagonia Better Sweater and I'm finding it hard to layer anything other than a tank top. I suggest go a size up if you plan on wearing anything under it! Otherwise, great purchase. 100% worth the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish, Yet Functional I love my Better Sweater 1/4 Zip! It's one of my favorite fitted go-to pieces in the winter that will keep me cozy with only a tank underneath. However, the sizing does not feel true to size compared to all other Patagonia tops, which is why I dropped it a star. I chose a small over a medium (my normal size), because it was more fitted on the bottom (the medium was too boxy). It can be snug between chest and arm pit and the sleeves are a hair too short for my long arms, but those things are workable for me. The pocket in the arm is rather handy, but doesn't look bulky when you put items in there. :) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking sweater! I love the warmth and feel of this 1/4 zip sweater by Patagonia! Great for cold and wet Wisconsin Spring, Fall and Winter weather. Have worn it twice watching outdoor soccer games this Spring, and have received compliments on it each time. Can be worn for casual events or even corporate casual wear. I ordered a slightly larger size to add layers underneath - plus it seems to run slightly small. Haven't washed it yet, but plan to turn inside out when I do, as other reviewers have mentioned some pilling. I do have a similar Patagonia that I've washed several times without pilling. Looking at getting this in other colors, too, as this classic look will stay in style! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy and beautiful! I bought this Better Sweater in Bend Blue- first, I must say the color is so great! It reminds me of Caribbean waters :) It is warm yet still lightweight, and I was comfortable in temperatures around 40-60 degrees (which will vary depending on the amount of activity you are doing). It blocks out light wind and the pocket on the arm is pretty big! The cut of this jacket is flattering and it was longer than I thought, which I appreciated: it comes down a little bit past my hips. This sweater is sturdy and packs down pretty small (smaller than my Patagonia Synchilla, if you're looking for a comparison, though the Synchilla is definitely thicker). Rated 4 out of 5 by from Women's Patagonia Women's Better Sweater 1/4 Zip I bought this item in the light purple. It arrived very quickly, after speaking to an awesome customer service person at the company who placed a phone order for me. I almost ordered the XS, but decided I wanted a little more room, so I went for the S. I love this sweater, but it doesn't have a lot of "give" and I was hoping for the back side to be just a little longer than the front to cover a bit more "back there". I am 5'2, 115 pounds and petite. I did receive compliments on the color and it really keeps me warm as I live in Minnesota. I kept it, but I think I'd actually order a M next time so it could serve as more of a jacket for layering. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was hoping for I bought one for myself about a month ago after borrowing my friend's 1/4 zip on an unexpectedly chilly day at Bryce Canyon. I have always liked the way this better sweater looks, but I was really surprised by how lightweight and warm it is. I have owned the re-tool snap T pullover for years, but this one seems to keep me warmer on windy days. It's a great lightweight option for hiking (not too bulky under backpacks) or an extra layer to keep you warm on runs. The fit is more snug than the snap pullover, but still true to size, so keep that in mind when shopping. Overall I'm really happy with this purchase, especially with the summer sale pricing. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket! My daughter loves her jacket! Heads up,it is a slim fit design so if you want it to fit you just right get your normal size, if you want it to be a little big and have room for maybe a sweater underneath definitely size up! We had to exchange for bigger size and it was a simple process. We were even upgradedo to 3 day shipping for our exchange item. Great service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE! LOVE this patagonia! I wear it all the time! I can wear it and be very comfortable, yet still look put together - not sloppy like a regular sweatshirt.
