Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great small camera bag I use this as a day bag for a Fuji X100F The camera fits with the thumb rest, but not the hood. I use the cuff wrist strap. By using the full height of the bag, I can fit gloves on top of the camera. I use the Slide lite camera strap for the bag. It is hard attach the strap to the anchor links because there is not enough slack on the anchor links. The main problem with this bag is the velcro hook side. The Slide light strap or your clothes catches on the velcro causing it to fray. The bag is very waterproof. I wish there were a outside full length pouch for small papers like maps. For some people, this might be too minimalist as a camera bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always On My Belt I purchased the Black Field Pouch and absolute love it. Its the perfect little bet much to put lens caps, body covers and charging cables. It fits perfectly on the bottom of my Everyday Backpack V2 and acts a an extra cushion on the bottom of that bag. Being picky I do wish the entire interior was grey to match the rest of my bags, but some sandy tan diversity is good to have and keeps life more exciting too. Perfect place for all the knickknacks you end up with. It is always on my belt and slides easily from front to back when you skip a belt loop like the video recommends. As usual another excellent design and very beautiful quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The bag that I am willing to be seen with I am a teacher and I have been through a lot of pouches that allows me to bring with me the myriad of supplies that I need through the day. Markers, pens, small notebooks, keys, cash, charger cables, credit cards. The pouch does it all with the sling. The key feature that allowed this to win out for me is the Velcro roll top. A zipper will mean I need two hands to open it. The Velcro meant that I can open it within one hand, reach in and draw up a black marker without even needing to look down from the white board. It expands to fit a iPad mini, though it's a bit of a stretch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Field Pouch You Get for Internal Carry The Field Pouch V2 is definitely the one to get if you want lug around a very minimal carry on your person as a sling. But the Field Pouch V1 is the one I recommend if you want a minimal carry to stow in your pack for compartmentalization or if you want to have pouch on your belt to carry tools. Reason being the pockets inside the V1 make it a simple to visibly see what you have packed, it also helps the interior is yellow. The small discreet zip portion is also useful to stow something that is meant to stay with the bag like emergency microfiber cloth or sd cards. The zipper portion and how it is made makes it more likely you are accessing the zipper portion

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If only... Very well made, practical utility pouch. If only it could be more secure when used crossbody as a sling bag: 1. the zipped pocket is small. I understand that these are meant for batteries and memory cards, but could only wish if I'd be able to fit a small purse (and even better, my passport) in and have the peace of mind. 2. the velcro closing doesn't always work every time. It's also opened easily - great for quick access, not so under a European urban setting. It'll be perfect if there's a secondary mechanism (like a pair of snap fasteners) to deflect the attempts from pickpockets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my go to I got the field pouch V2 and there are pros and cons to both. I really like that this one is a little thinner and a tiny bit smaller. But I like that V2 has a strap that comes with it and is a tiny big bigger. I'm still testing all this. Overall this is a great pouch and if you want something really small that can easily be tossed in a bag, this is it. You can easily add on the peak design red little attachment parts and attach the camera strap to this. The more expensive thin camera strap by peak design is better than the thin strap that comes with V2. Whichever you get, it's a solid choice

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great versatile little pouch I bought the black version of the field pouch. This is my second one since I loved the original field pouch that was launched when the Everyday Backpack v1 first launched. It's rugged and durable. I love that it's slim and easily tucks away in my backpack and doesn't have any excess bulk. But when I do jam a bunch of stuff in it, it's quite accommodating. The updated version I got is slightly different than the original (which is probably not available anymore). The quality of the material doesn't feel as nice as the original, but it's still high quality like you'd expect from peak design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice urban pouch Just to make it clear: it may not fit your mirrorless camera. My tiny little Sony Nex 5N won't fit. However you can use it as lens & battery & stuff carrier. Fits a couple of medium Sony E lenses (like SEL50F18), batteries, SDs, filters, wallet and still have some space. I personally don't like Velcro, since it's pretty much load when you need to open a poach in a museum or near a shy animal. Since my camera won't fit the pouch I have to take PD Capture if weather is good, put it on PD Slide (weather again) or choose another bag.. I found I use this bag more as an urban pouch rather than camera pouch. Also I use this bag with a strap (PD Slide) and never put it on the belt as it looks pretty much awkward.
