Love these pants![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are so comfortable and have a nice amount of stretch to them. They are made with the same material as the Halle II pant but these straight leg pants do not have the snap that holds the hem roll up and the inseams are different too. These pants have a 30 inch inseam for regular. Short is 28 inch and tall is 32 inch. If you need the 34 inch inseam then you should go with the Halle II pant ( more of a bootcut pant) in tall! These also have 2 small crotch ventilation holes which is a new feature as my original Halle pant does not have these. The only thing I would prefer on these pants is snap closure instead of button closure but these are a great pair of pants with a good selection of colors.

They changed the cut.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric feels great. The hips are pointy and baggy—very pointy and baggy. The rise is too high. The sizing runs large. Wish they had kept the same cut as the past few years.

comfortable but not durable[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own several pairs of Prana Halle pants. The older version has much tougher fabric and my two previous pairs have lasted me years of rock and mountain climbing. The new pair started pilling up as soon as they touched rock for the first time. I am not sure how long they'll last. They're comfortable and stylish but maybe more suited to less demanding activities.

First experience with prAna[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these because they have a long inseam and fit well at the hip. I've only worn them for a month, but they've held up well on hikes and climbing so far and the fabric feels durable. I appreciate the drawstring at the waist in addition to belt loops. The back pockets aren't deep so my phone and wallet fall out, but the front pockets work well. I am tall with fatter thighs and they were not uncomfortable or unflattering.

Almost PerfectI bought these before leaving to travel for 8 months. I've found the Halle II shorts to be perfect, these are almost there. These are one of only two pairs of pants I packed (the others are a pair of athletic leggings). Not only have I worn them in 12+ countries in the last 8 months, I have put them through a lot. They are great for hiking, sight-seeing, and everyday use. I have used them for trekking through the jungle, hiking mountains, sleeping on trains, and sightseeing cities. I have hand washed them, line dried, machine washed, and machine dried. They dry quickly and have a bit of stretch (which is great for being active). Because the legs are loose enough at the bottom that I am able to roll them to mid/upper-shin, but still tight enough that they can be tucked into hiking socks, which has been helpful in varying temperatures and environments. I also like that there are two small ventilation holes in the crotch of the pants. **The only drawbacks are that the fabric has started to pill in the crotch of the pants and the sizing of the pockets. I use my phone for taking photos and like to have it handy when hiking. If I put my phone in the front pocket, it hinders my mobility and makes large strides up or down / climbing more challenging. Additionally, with a case on my phone, the zippered pocket on the right leg is too small for my phone to fit without a lot of struggle. Otherwise, these pants are great!

Nice pants, not for me[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pants seem very durable, I loved the color, and the pockets were nice. The cut was just not flattering on me. I am a pear shape but quite athletic and fit, and these pants did nothing good for me. Ended up returning. Would be nice if description or reviews told more about what body shapes work best, or how rigid the fabric is.

These pants have great features. Love them.I purchased these pants a month ago and actually had to return them to my local store. They were awesome and helped me return them and got the Prana pants that I needed. These will be great for my trip to Alaska this coming May. I shared this brand with others that are going to Alaska with me.
