Very comfortable![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and comfortable. This was the first time I had purchased a Salewa coat. Very happy I did! After buying this coat, I started to look at their other products. Their cool styling continues into other items.

Warm, but ...It's pretty warm, and here's a few gripes and likes:
1. Wool hairs shed through the outer shell quite a bit. So much shedding that it looks
like I have pets, but I have no pets. I feel like the gray Tirolean sheep have come over
to say Ciao. The hairs will also stick out partially on the shell. Lint roller doesn't work,
you have to pluck them.
2. Baggy fit. Layers well with a sweater and a vest, but baggy with a just a shirt. Windy
conditions make it flop around even with the cinch cord jacked tight.
3. Drapes down long past my jeans pockets, so if you need to get into your pockets you
have to yank the jacket up.
4. Waist cinch cords have too much extra bungee that sticks out and snags on things.
No I didn't get a size too large for me. The chest and arms are great. I can move my arms without the sleeves riding up. The elastic cuffs are almost perfect, but not quite tight enough elastic- a breeze still gets in.
It's really a belay jacket design totally designed for climbing, with fancy colors and it's ok for high 30's - 50's. I'm wearing it on the streets. It's not warm enough for below 32, either as a mid-layer or a shell, and the bagginess makes it almost impossible as a mid-layer.
Personally, I'm tired of down and synthetic - I like what Salewa is doing with wool.
