Super comfy[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look and comfort of the shoes/boots. They are a touch narrow, and are a bit difficult to put on due to the way the laces are done. There is only one hook for the laces at the top of the shoe-not one pair, one hook on each shoe. The rest are regular eyelets. There is also a weird flap at the back of the shoe (at the top) that tends to get hung up on my heel while putting them on. It is a small aggravation, not enough to not wear and enjoy the shoes, but enough to be an early morning frustration.

A Winner![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite light hiking shoe of all time, hands down. It has a true to size fit which is snug, but without pressure points. There's no sense of heel movement or rub so no hotspots whatsoever after two long hikes right out of the box.
The grippy sole provides great traction on rock and all trail surfaces, the shoe height provides great lateral support, and its super light.
A terrific new shoe design, like nothing I've ever worn.

Best Hiking Boot Ever[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the lightest, most comfortable and stable in the ankle boot I’ve ever owned. I thought all 3 of those together were impossible, but no more.
They are more comfortable than any shoes I’ve ever had, much less hiking boots.
I’ve found a new favorite clothing company, they make great pants too.

These are the best trail/hiking shoes I have ever owned. I have used these at the crag, approaches, and jumaring up routes. I love the extra ankle support without it being too constrictive. 10/10 would recommend. Not sure I will buy another trail shoe.

Overall, the boot failed its purpose. This is my only bad experience with Salewa. These boots were a bit lackluster and started coming apart after 5 days of minimal use. The boots ended up coming apart completely after 3 weeks of usage. No amount of shoe goo is putting them back together. On a positive note, they were comfortable. Customer support took care of me, but I wouldn’t recommend this model of boots to anyone wanting a good pair of boots

DroplineSo far these are great. I’ve taken them on 3-4 hikes ranging 2-8 miles. Break in time required for these boots was near zero. I am not a fan of the lacing system, specifically on the top portion and am betting that will be the first point of failure. The tongue and internal gator did cause some discomfort in the beginning but after a mile or so worked itself out. Overall, they are lightweight and breathable, exactly what I was looking for.
