Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love this shoe! A hiking trip was planned and I needed a hiking shoe. It would involve a lot of trail (about nine miles total) and a couple miles of dunes. After some extensive research I settled on the Lite Train K shoes from Salewa, and I couldn't be happier. As a first time hiker, this was a world unknown to me but I'm thankful through all nine miles of sweat and dehydration, my feet were not a part of the problem. These shoes fit perfectly and never once felt too tight in any area. The bottom helped tremendously during parts of the trail that involved a lot of steep steps and even through the dunes I never felt out of my element. The shoes were ventilated and I never felt like my feet were suffocating. I love the green color too! I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who is looking to get into hiking without breaking the bank first. For me, an excellent starter shoe for someone who hiked their first trail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light hiking kicks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable, stylish, and quality construction make these shoes a great buy. They fit me true to size although if you have a wide foot I’d suggest looking elsewhere. They are extremely lightweight, similar to my Scarpa spins, but with a more aggressive tread pattern. There isn’t much protection under the forefoot area so pounding on really rocky trails is not advised. I use these for hiking to the crag, etc and they are perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second pair as good as the first! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair in 2 years; same fit as the first. The Michelin rubber grips nice on all surfaces. There are no wear bars to let you know when to replace, but you’ll notice some slipping in your traction near the end. The upper mesh held up although the sole portion the covers the toe separated a bit prematurely. Great shoe for everyday lifestyle and speed hiking through dry trails.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome grip [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these. Here’s why. They breathe very well, drain water and dry quick (normally within a couple hours). The Michelin soles are my favorite because I have experienced no slipping on wet rocks and wood. If there was something to be aware of its to order your normal size don’t upsize a half because they seem to run long in the toe box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok shoe, nothing special [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Build quality is good, it’s a little narrow in the toe area, I wear an 11.5m shoe off the shelf in running shoes, and this shoe is debatable on whether it is too short- juuust long enough with a very thin sock, anything thicker and I would say it is too short. So-so at this price, good deal if the price was lower.....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shoe [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this shoe for trail running/hiking. It has great traction and is comfortable. It’s not ideal for road running but definitely suitable for road walking too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable Excellent shoe for walking and hiking. Very durable outer sole that can withstand asphalt surfaces. I have a narrow foot and it fits like a glove.
