Best Ride EverThe Ride 14 is almost certainly the best version of the Ride, and I've run in all versions. The Formfit feature, for the first time, works as a single, full-length system. Previous iterations tended to feel as if there were 2 independent pods--heel & forefoot. The result is a lightweight shoe that conforms to the foot throughout the stride as a single unit. For me, this enables a better push-off as well as a stronger feeling that the shoes are working with my feet & right up the chain of levers from ankles to hips. Plus, big style points for the colors. Now, Saucony, don't change a thing.

Too firm for meGave the Ride 14 a try and like most things about the shoe. The upper and fit were good. The thing I didn’t like was the midsole is too firm for me. I’ll stick with a shoe that has a softer landing.

Not as durable as previous modelsI'm disappointed with this model. I have two pairs of Saucony ride 10 and one pair of ISO2. I was able to wear all of them until the outsole got too worn out because of high mileage. But the integrity of the shoes was still good and I'm still able to wear them when doing workouts inside. With this model, however, the mesh toe box on both shoes gave out and got separated from the sole before I was able to worn out the outsole. In previous models, the mesh was sewed with some bottom part. But with this model it looks like it's only glued and it does not last as long. Sad Saucony is losing quality.

Too narrow, harsh landingBig fan of Ride ISO, and Ride 13, however these are so narrow, and the soft landing is just gone, it's so sad, the soft area around the edges of the shoe are harsh and sharp now, I'm not sure why they decided to wreck this shoe so much, maybe so people would be forced to buy those Endorphin shoes?
Really bummed

Disappointed. Had to discontinue use.I ran in this shoe for about a month on relaxed days at about 9 min pace. The upper is awesome and is arguably the best shoe I ever put on my feet from a comfort standpoint.
Unfortunately, I started developing knee and ankle soreness on my left side. I took a weeks rest and did mobility exercises and extra warm up, but the days after running in the Ride 14 the issue got worse.
I kept with the mobility work but switch back to my old shoes and the knee and ankle issues went away.
I saw a video review from a runner who suggest it may be Saucony’s stability system causing the issue.
In the weeks after discontinued use my knee and ankle feels fine again. Unfortunately Saucony shoes may not be for me. I really wanted to love this shoe but I want to run for a long time and this shoe wasn’t helping that cause.

Not as near as good as the Ride ISO 2I have been running since 2005 and I previously bought the Ride ISO 2 and those were the best running shoes I ever owned!! There were cushy, yet moderately responsive. The Ride 13 however has lost a decent amount of that cushioning and now my feet hit harder as I run. Not only that, but my hip and feet hurt if I use these shoes too much. I am glad I still have some life left in the Ride ISO 2's so I can alternate a little, and from what I am reading the Ride 14 is almost the same as the Ride 13, so I won't be buying them either.
You dropped the ball on the cushioning Saucony. Go back to the Ride ISO 2 and drop the lacing, but bring back the exact same engineering specs and manufacturing and you'll have a winner again and I see from other reviewers on different sites they are complaining about loss of cushioning as well and also having ligament pain from running in them.

Saucony Racing TeamI ran for the Saucony Racing Team for 3 years back in the early 1980’s and though I mentioned it to them, alumni apparently do not qualify for a discount! I’m now 70 and this shoe has just the right amount of cushion for my achilles, knees and hips. I’m a size 9 and the size was right on. Fit comfortably and snug in standard width.
I almost went for the Triumph, but the chat person recommended the Ride. I’m glad he did. This is just what I was looking for. I got the natural. Very stylish!

Much underrated shoeExcellent daily trainer, comfortable and durable. Plus if you want to 'pop' a few unplanned faster efforts in to your daily run it copes well with that too.
